The atmosphere and decor is fantastic. The cocktails are delicious. The appetizers are yummy. The charcuterie board in particular is one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. I recommend going before 4pm when it isn’t crowded and you can chat with the staff and your fellow companions. After 4pm things start to get buy and loud. Not bad, but busier and louder.

Came here with some close friends and had a great time. We came just for a quick drink and ending up staying for two hours trying a few awesome drinks with a great bartender named Henry. The bar is beautiful and the atmosphere is very laid-back. We had great laughs and just had a very memorable night. Started with drinks and then we ended up trying a few things from the menu. The bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection and seasoned amazingly! It was like a cumin and lime dry rub or marinade but it was great! The half chicken was actually the best chicken I’ve ever had in a restaurant/bar. It was juicy and tender seasoned well. This place was a pleasant surprise! The only down side was the first bartender that greeted us, and made our first round of drinks seem very uninterested in serving us, made us the first round of drinks and never bother to come back and check in on us as he continued to service others around us that looked.. well more prominent or desirable to say the least. This was not a good start, but the other bartender Henry came to the rescue and the night was a blast! Thank you Henry for making this a very memorable night with great friends! #Bones4Rose (inside joke that Henry started that had us laughing so hard) Thank you 1882 for employing wonderful people like Henry! Because of him we will be back!

We were here on Thanksgiving day and it was crowded, but the staff was on point and friendly even though it was crowded. I had the reuban sandwich and fries. Idk what they do to them fries, but man we’re they good. That sandwich was awesome and the homemade thousand island sauce was incredible. Considering the location I thought it was reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed

My waiter seemed to pay more attention the customers with “whiter” skin. Vinny forgot about me a few times. He apologized, but for what…?

My husband and I recently enjoyed a very special anniversary celebration at the 1882 Bar & the Pine Room. Jennifer Wilcox was our top notch bartender. Try one of her B52s sometime! Penny was our server and took care of our every need. I highly recommend the ribeye steak. What a wonderful time we had .

Excellent service in a wonderful atmosphere. It is always a treat to find a professional bartender (Susan) that knows how to make a proper Negroni.

Me and my husband went here for Christmas Eve dinner, the atmosphere is nice the hotel lobby is beautiful. The server gentleman was really friendly but the food runner was not polite at all she seemed annoyed. My husband had the falafel vegetable bowl, the portion was small and it was extremely salty almost uneatable. I had the chicken sandwich, it was unfortunately over cooked and chewy and the portion of the patty was really small. We were a bit underwhelmed by the experience. Maybe next time will make reservations for the other restaurant for such an occasion.

The people make ALL the difference, and the bar staff here did not care tonight. My husband and I sat at the bar where our bartender seemed upset she had to serve us. She kind of chucked napkins in our general direction after taking the order, and was not personable at all during any interaction with her. The drinks tasted ‘okay’, but I observed the staff using their hands for everything. From carrying cubes, grabbing garnishes, to removing smudges from glassware, not a single utensil or bar tongs were used throughout. The piece de resistance was watching our bartender pour alcohol all over the credit card we provided to pay our tab with while making another patron their drink, wiping the card off, and sending that drink out as-is. Whomever received that drink did not get all the alcohol they paid for. Ditch this place and try ‘Lucky’, or ‘Stock’ for a more friendly, sanitary, and delicious cocktail experience.
