Stopped by while working out of town. I really enjoyed the dining experience here. I thought the location being in an old house was super cool. The food was more expensive than I was expecting but the portions were decent and the staff was friendly. I was not a big fan of the hush puppies but the catfish was good.

5/21/22 got there at 6:30 ordered food at 7:10 didn’t get our food at all. Sat their until 8:30 an still NO FOOD. Got up paid for our drinks an left. Mind you people that came in behind us got there food, before we didn’t. They brought the ticket before they even brought the food like we were not going to order more drinks. I will never go there again. An all the waitress said was she thought we had our food. How an you didn’t bring it to the table. Never again

I ate there yesterday (7-11-22) and it was horrible. Although they saw my children and I waiting at the entrance, it took 10 minutes to be greeted and seated. Then it took almost two (2) hours for my food to arrive. The appetizer never arrived. I had to get up, locate the waitress and remind her about my food order before she told me they were out of oysters (my appetizer). Also the steak is $2.75 an ounce. I asked for 16ozs and the waitress was suppose to come back and tell me the exact amount of ozs my steak was and she never came. Turns out it was 18 ozs. I would have liked to have known how much I was paying. Last, they charged me for a drink I did not order, but because I was so frustrated I paid the ticket and tipped the waitress and just left. Terrible service, but the food was ok.

There was not a wait time. The food was the best we have had in awhile. It is pricey. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is a very old house with very unique features. It is definitely worthy of a visit.
