The food was really good and came out fast and hot. The water and sweet tea had a very odd taste however which was hard to overcome. It wasn’t super busy when we went but there was only 3 people working (2 servers and the guy rolling sushi) so after we ordered and got food it took some work to flag down the server. Overall nice visit and the black garlic ramen was spicy and filling.

Avacodo roll and yellow fin roll were very tasty. Hibachi chicken was delicious. One person ordered the black garlic ramen “spicy” and it was definitely on the hot side. Even the person who ordered it mild said it had a pretty good zing to it. Nice, friendly service. Generous portions. Definitely recommend.

Service was good but food when it came to sushi was sketchy! The sashimi was slimy looking and not very fresh in appearance at all. There was a level of cheapness when it came to the sushi also as it was chef’s choice and I received egg (chicken) sushi, shrimp sushi, and imitation crab sushi along with the slimy looking sashimi. It was not good at all looking so my entire sushi/sashimi lunch meal was thrown out in the trash after I paid for it and asked politely for a box.
The decor was not very nice either and the bathroom was just bad! Smelled and the faucet was broken and loose and just about everything in the bathroom made me want to leave fast.
There was also a woman cleaning actual dishes out in the open where you eat in a slop sink and it was just pretty unprofessional feeling along with being unsanitary.
Again the service was great but I’m there for the food not the service.
The gf had a Bento box which was good she said so maybe just steer clear of the sushi…

Got take out for the first time to try. Overall not bad, the bento box seemed to be the way to go even though the sushi seemed a bit mushy(and maybe that was because it was takeout). I would come back to try the ramen. Didn’t care for the miso or house soup. Also strange that the chicken were all little small chunks of dark meat. The employees were very kind and service was quick. Had to do 3 stars because of how pricey it was.

The service is quick and friendly. I enjoyed the rainbow role and the mignon lobster hibachi with a side of scallops. I would love to see them add some curry ramen.
Clean bathrooms and the parking lot is spacious.
I’ve added pictures of my visit.

First, the black garlic ramen was amazing! We tried the steak and shrimp hibachi; the steak was so tender and yummy, and the carrots were also really good. We also had the chicken teriyaki bento box; it was pretty good, and you get a lot of food. We didn’t really care for the takoyaki because of the sauce; otherwise, they were decent. We had the taro milk tea and strawberry tea with popping boba; both were delicious We will be back!

So good we went two weeks in a row! First time we got a roll and some nigiri. So good! Second time we had to get the ramen. Divine. The staff is so sweet, the service is awesome and the vibes are perfect. Please try this place. You won’t regret it!

Food was good and the service generally was as well. I really appreciate Katherine’s (I think that was her name) suggestions when we were ordering. We had a few different items but really enjoyed the “Monkey Brains” which was an avocado dish. My wife had the Bento box which she said was good besides the spring roll which was a bit soggy and the chicken that was very chewy. The steak was great and had a nice flavor. I had the Black Garlic Ramen which was very good and on par for ramen. The service, while very good, was a bit overbearing at times. Our server was great, but you can tell there’s a lot of pressure on them to be attentive, and at times it was just a little much. Our busser was EXTREMELY adamant about cleaning our table the exact moment we dropped our forks. Overall, generally good food and VERY attentive staff.

Idk where these people are eating to give such great reviews but that is not how we experienced Koi last night – this place was awful and we will not be returning ever. The gyoza was bland and the sauce was very watered down. The sushi we got $18 each, was pretty good but not the best. It was interesting to try new sushi so I’ll give them that.
They also sat us at the table right next to the bathroom. There were plenty of other tables but this is what they chose for us. We could see everyone in and out of the first bathroom and the smell would drift over to our table.
However the Japanese Fried Rice was anything but fried. The rice is so bland. I can tell there was no oil used for frying the rice. It was not cooked on a hibachi or a skillet. When you fry something in a skillet or flat top, you will get flavor from those surfaces including a slight amount of charring. Zero char and zero flavor. There were 3 peas and 2 carrot squares on the entire big plate and NO fried eggs. They gave half of a soft boiled egg that I can tell immediately that it came straight from the refrigerator. It was chilled, not room temp cold but chilled. So basically I had a plate full of rice that seemed microwaved with none of the advertised peas, carrots, and fried egg.

Not sure where the high ratings are coming from. Started with the “Double Trouble” sushi—it stated spicy tuna and spicy salmon. Received something resembling blended, squash-like tuna and salmon. Take a look at the picture; it looks like it came from a can.
As a meal, I got the $28!! hibachi salmon/steak meal. When I tell you the salmon was quarter-sized thin… The steak and rice had no seasoning. The plate was 80% vegetables.
I don’t know, maybe stick with their noodle bowls. Those might be good. For everything else, trust me. Look around on the island. There are way better spots. They also need to turn the light down a little. Place feels like a fast food joint.
