My first time trying this spot and it was AMAZING! We had a party of 8 and they were so accommodating to my family and friends. From the time we entered the establishment, the hospitality was on point. The FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE! Shoutout to London (sp), the General Manager for recommending the Crab Balls! Also our server Kareem (sp). He was courteous, professional, and kind as I had a couple of young kids with me. He also recommended the Bayou Bowl which was so good! Tore it up!
Oh, last but not least, the drinks were delicious! I believe I had the Hurricane, while my friend had the River Walk, and my sister had a margarita flight! The entire staff seemed friendly, always smiling, and the atmosphere was ‘grown’, and yet still family friendly. Can’t wait to try other menu items the next time I’m in the A!

20/10!! This place is AMAZING! The minute you walk in, you’re greeted immediately. Charity is such an amazing waitress, her energy and customer service is everything. She provided guidance with our food & drink options. The Mardi Gras pasta is so flavorful and filling— I absolutely recommend! We also had their chargrilled oysters which is a must have. Their margarita flight is worth the price if you love a good drink. Fun & vibrant atmosphere overall. I also love how the managers and the owner himself, Donald, walks around and connects with the customers. If you were looking for a sign, here it is! Run don’t walk! Go ahead & ask for my girl Charity while you’re at it because her service is A1.

I had an incredible experience at D’Juan’s new location! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The General Manager, London, was so hospitable and truly set the tone for an amazing dining experience.
The food was absolutely phenomenal — the oysters were a standout and easily some of the best I’ve had. Even my grandmother thoroughly enjoyed her meal, which says a lot because she is usually very critical when it comes to food. That alone speaks volumes about the quality and flavor.
Our waitress, Misty, was exceptional. She provided superior service, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and gave the best recommendations. She also went above and beyond to make my 6-year-old feel comfortable and included, which meant so much to our family.
Overall, my time at D’Juan’s was nothing short of amazing. Great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience!

12:50PM arrival. Seated. As of 1:02PM, No server. 1:06PM Nia as in Nia Long arrives. Cannot answer questions about cocktails b/c she doesn’t drink but runs to the bar to ask about Bourbons. Stay tuned. Put orders in for a Titos and an Old Fashion 15 minutes ago. Well, at least we have water. It’s 1:30PM BTW. Let’s talk about the bathrooms since we got time on our hands. One stall each? 1:33PM Drinks arrive. Mine, the Old Fashioned was sweet as hell. Maybe the bartender thought that was funny because I implicitly asked for a non-sweet cocktail. I’ll get back to the restrooms in a minute. Appetizer arrived around 1:35PM. Chargrilled oysters. Very good. It’s 2:02PM no entrées yet. Food arrived at 2:04PM finally. We are done eating now and the food was delicious hands down! Now we long to reunite with Nia to settle up on our bill. It’s 2:29PM. I know you’re waiting for me toget back to the bathrooms. The greatest misconception of this place. As you see from my pics….. ONE STALL EACH. Look at all these people!! One stall for the men and one for the women….after they announced how Big this location was to all of us, you can only accommodate us with one stall each. Huh??? Food was great. Our server was nice but quite inexperienced. Not her fault. If someone is going to hire you, they need to train you adequately. But that’s just me. Blakes is definitely the better half of this marriage. FORKS DOWN.

The food was good, but not worth a 2.5 to 3 hour process to get it. We sat down almost immediately, but apparently our server was not notified that he had customers at one of his tables. This is a small establishment, so if you’re a server and you’re active on the floor you shouldn’t have to be told. After I stopped the host and inquired about service (after waiting at my table for about 20 minutes) the server came over. What really compelled me to write this review is that no matter the size of your party, there’s an automatic 20% tip added to your ticket. On top of that, the way the ticket was presented – you’d add another tip on top of that if you’re not careful. I really did not like that especially after spending almost 3 hours in this place due to poor service. Unfortunately, for me, I dont think I’ll be going back. Im just really particular about service and food quality. The food was decent. I felt for the price – you should get a little more on your plate. It felt like an attempt at being one of those fancy small plate resturant that got a Michelin star or something. To me, it wasn’t that type of spot. Again… the food was good (not tears in your eyes great) but that crappy service really killed this spot for me. Maybe I’ll try again in a year or so after I’ve forgotten about this experience.

This place was absolutely AMAZING!!! Everything was so good and flavorful! The oysters 100/10 definitely better than Blake’s, c&s and coalition!! NIAAAA WAS THE BEST SERVER! I appreciate servers that go into DETAILS about the food! She let us know exactly what would be in our food. What type of flavors, meats, veggies, even down to the spice level! Even after we order she recommended other things on the menu! Please sit in Nia section I’m already planning to go back just for her <3

Brenda was an amazing server. very polite and attentive. Now the prices are a little rich and they include a 20% gratuity no matter how many guest so just be prepared. Food was so so. Shrimp are jumbo. Gumbo was good.
Beignet had cinnamon on it! Not good and way too sweet. Go back to the drawing board with the beignet recipe. it tasted like the cinnamon toast crunch cereal from back in the day.
. I would suggest a lunch menu for the locals just to be competitive throughout the community. But Brenda was amazing but not sure if we will be back for a $93 lunch.

I enjoyed absolutely everything. The staff was amazing and the food was a 10/10. Our server Misty, was absolutely amazing. Her recommendation to get the crawfish etouffe with fried catfish on top was top tier. We will definitely come back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ | D’Juan’s Cajun Bistro — Lunch Visit
Stopped by D’Juan’s Cajun Bistro for lunch and overall had a really strong experience—especially for a newly opened spot.
The food:
Big win here. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-executed. Minor critique on value: the sides (red beans & rice, dirty rice) felt a bit overpriced for the portion size. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note.
Standout deal:
$1.75 chargrilled oysters on Wednesdays — an absolute steal. Fresh, delicious, and there was no wait during our visit.
Service:
Huge shoutout to Charity, our server—5 stars across the board. Attentive, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about both the menu and drink options. She truly elevated the experience.
Logistics & tips:
• The reservation system still needs some attention, which is understandable for a new opening.
• Same goes for the e-coupon / in-kind system, which appears to still be in refinement.
Recommendation: call ahead, especially if you’re on a schedule.
• 20% Gratuity automatically added to all checks.
Location:
Conveniently located in West Village Plaza, Smyrna, with a great neighborhood feel.
Bottom line:
Great food, excellent service, and a few early operational tweaks still underway. Definitely worth a visit—and a repeat, especially on oyster night.
