I have eaten here before and it was really nice. The food was good.The service was good. We brought more people tonight to eat. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise, people were loud. The service staff was extremely loud. Brought us our food before even taking our soup bowls. The acoustics were terrible. It was just loud and noisy. I was extremely disappointed for the dinner we were hoping to have. My food was drenched in teriyaki sauce. It was so gross, I had a hard time eating it, all they wanted to do was give me free dessert. Anybody else try to eat all of that? It would make them literally sick. I don’t think I want to go back there again. There’s no reason for everybody to talk so loud that works there. We paid a lot of money for our food. The employees could have been a little more considerate on taking care of us. The manager or owner should have made sure the entertainment was. It wasn’t being so noisy, setting up a band while still having people in there eating. The other people that were singing were terrible. Sorry for that. We were hoping to show a friend out of town. A really good dinner at the restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary, she ordered the fish n chips, I got the ribeye steak with veggies and mashed potatoes. The food was very delicious, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The waiter was incredible. She was very attentive, quick, and professional, very sweet. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. The aesthetic was very nice, great place to have a date, where you can enjoy good food, great atmosphere and nice aesthetic.

My wife and I were in town for an event and randomly stopped in here for dinner. I have a ton of experience in the restaurant industry as management, and I have to say I had some of the best service I’ve ever had. Our bartender Monty was absolutely great. Not only was the service top tier, the food was delicious. I had the sliders, and they were amazing. Atmosphere was amazing as well. Loved the decor.
I think the only bad part of the place is that it’s so far away and I can’t go back every week.
5/5, will absolutely go back next time we’re in town.

We organized a cocktail attire 50th Birthday party for an amazing mom, aunt, sister, daughter. We contemplated Gilroy winery vs Tempo. We chose Tempo since the venue has a bar and live music. After our party we would stay for the dance and music.
40 people cost $2400 including tip. Drinks were not included and everyone bought their drinks. Drinks were delicious. However over priced for Gilroy market. The waitress got our drinks wrong many times; however, she made good and remade the drinks. Dan, the owner also made good on the event and offered 110% great service.
Service was expected to be good during dinner due to cost….Dan met the expectations we had.
Food was delicious beginning with the appetizers to the main courses of beef, pasta with shrimp, and the juicy chicken. Everything was special and cooked to perfection. Usually food cooked for many people tastes dry. Not in this case.
The after party with live music was fantastic and became so-so because bars attract shady people who when drunk are inappropriate – harrassement of girls, cat calls. The bar tenders and woman manager do nothing about cat calls and harrassement. The owner said “you should expect this at a bar.” I disagree. Ended up ruining the night.
Pearl – bar tenders should pay attention to customers and quickly jump in to de-escalate. However, perhaps, having security is costly for Tempo.
I recommend Tempo for the good food, good service, music venue. Would have been 5 star – however the escalation ruined a perfectly good night.
Dan, the owner called and apologized next morning. He had a meaninful conversation.
Tempo should be one of Gilroy’s finest. I believe Dan and his team will work to make the experience 5 stars!

Love that they serve brunch all day on Sunday! Fun atmosphere with cool decor. The pumpkin soup was divine. Great, friendly service & we even got to meet Chef Oscar.

Came for dinner w/the wife after hearing that Tempo had just recently opened. It was fairly busy, since the giants were playing, but not packed. They have an outdoor area and the inside looked pretty nice. We were sat right away and our server was pretty attentive although he could’ve clarified some things for us so we didn’t waste food and money, and our order wasn’t correct. For drinks the wife ordered the strawberry fields forever and I ordered a spicy margarita. Both were ok, but could’ve used a tad more liquor. We shared a caesar salad, which was good and had homemade croutons. For dinner we both ordered the Tempo American wagyu steak burger. It was pretty good, but it didn’t state it came w/onions and it didn’t state that it came w/fries so we ordered a side of Cajun fries, which could’ve been explained to us when we asked for the side of fries. Would recommend checking it out.

I’ve been to Tempo a number of times, for different occasions- brunch, lunch, happy hour, mother’s day lunch and each time the service, food/drinks quality and taste has been consistent.
I received a beautiful rose on Mother’s day, nice gesture from the restaurant.
I enjoy the ambiance, as well as the decor and vibe. Regardless, of what time of the day it is, you feel like it’s 5pm somewhere

We ordered our food, we both ordered a salad with a selected protein. The chef forgot the protein we had to send it back. The Mediterranean salad was also missing all the feta cheese. They brought out more feta cheese and after observing my plate of food, I observed a bug crawl out of my salad. Then I observed a large fly crawl out from inside the salad. This is unacceptable. We left without eating pretty nasty.
