The veggie burger was DA BOMB! We were able to substitute the mushroom burger with the veggie patty and it was absolutely delicious! Great service and great atmosphere. And don’t forget to try the decadent dark chocolate torte ❤️ highly recommend!

This was our first time in there we are on vacation and met some friends for dinner. The place was beautiful and spacious, the atmosphere was perfect we were able to talk without having to yell, the waitress kept our waters full and made sure everything was perfect! A very enjoyable meal, will definitely come back next time we are in Kentucky!

Celebrating my mom’s birthday was easy to do here. Party of 7 seated quickly on a Sunday at 5pm. Service was impeccable. Refills before asking, knew menu/ingredients, & checked back without interrupting conversations at the table. Mussels delicious- we tried several sauce flavors & all yummy. Large serving as entree with reasonable price. Burgers were also enjoyed & compliments given by those guests saying flavor and again serving size excellent especially for price. Highly recommend the MBB Old Fashion, it was superb!!! Our bills was split between couples, each had gratuity already added which was fine due our party of 7. We added a few additional dollars to equal what we would normally leave following such great service & food.

The bacon-wrapped dates are life-altering amazing. Our table ordered one round for an app … and then ordered two more rounds. But all of our food was incredible. Will definitely be back if our travels take us through Louisville.

The Mussel and Burger bar is both ambitious and sophisticated. Clearly the people designing the menu have a love for food and a talent for curating it. The menu is deep, and deeply considered, the offerings from just the right spread of different cuisines and cultures.
It’s like a Cheesecake Factory menu had been given to combined Chef/Editor, and doubled in quality by being reduced to a third the size.
The cocktails are artisan, the Burgers a safe choice for nearly any diner, and the Mussels? Those are the star, a fresh seafood you can safely order in a landlocked state, and offered in around 10 elegant styles. Split a different one each time you come as an appetizer- they work better as top shelf appetizers for the table than entrees, but they are exceptional.

Yelp said that this was the best seafood restaurant in Kentucky. I don’t know about that, but the mussels were good. The appetizer portion is a half pound and the entree portion is a pound – so I would recommend splurging for the pound and share them.
The burgers weren’t anything special unfortunately. And I love French fries, but the same could be said for the fries.
Would recommend the mussels.

Excellent mussels, perfectly cooked. We had the Ponzu, blue cheese and bacon and the moules basquaise. Each were delicious in their own way. Be warned the ponzu was spicy and could possibly be considered too hot for some.
Great burgers and excellent fries. We had the duck fries, fingers and even steak fries, all very good.

You know maybe it was a bad night, it was burger week… We came for burgers and fries, and in all honesty we settled for the special which is more like a double cheeseburger at McDonald’s. We paid $2 extra for lettuce and tomato, (are you kidding me), the fries were cold and greasy, the service was just horrible, she said she had worked there for over 2… years, really?!?…. treated us like she was doing us a favor to be there, and why would we bother her….. the bartender however a young gentleman, short stature, he could be the best bartender at any place in town. Great guy and a pro. We definitely won’t be back for burgers or fries. The atmosphere is just bare bones, the decor nothing unique or entertaining. Oh yeah a bucket with a rag in it sat next to my chair and our table the entire time we were there, are server had to stand over it to take our order,…who the hell is managing this place, what a joke…

This place has delicious food! The short rib nachos were my absolute favorite out of everything we tried, but it was all excellent. It was my birthday and the waiter we had took excellent care of us. I can’t remember his name:( but he had dark hair and said he had worked there for several years. We tried the BBQ burger and the Southern Bell burger, and both of them were excellent. I favored the regular fries over the sweet potato fries, but again, both good. We also tried the Blend Mac N Cheese. We opted out of the bacon, but the Mac and cheese itself with the cheese curds was very tasty. We got the bread pudding to go, and a day later, it was still good. We will definitely be back. The atmosphere and everything exceeded my expectations.
