PizzAmoré in Mount Dora is one of my favorite spots to eat. Every time I go, I order the blackened chicken Caesar salad wrap, and honestly, I’m obsessed. The chicken is perfectly seasoned with that smoky, spicy blackened flavor, the romaine is crisp and fresh, and the Caesar dressing ties it all together beautifully. It’s the kind of wrap that makes you want to savor every bite, and yet you can’t help going back for seconds (or thirds).
The restaurant itself has this incredibly cozy, inviting vibe. Warm lighting, comfortable seating, and little touches that make it feel like someone actually thought about how to make you feel at home. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or sitting down to enjoy a meal with friends, it just feels right.
What really sets PizzAmoré apart, though, is the staff. The servers are genuinely kind, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. They’re happy to answer questions, make recommendations, or just check in in a way that makes you feel cared for. It’s rare to find a place where the food, the atmosphere, and the service all come together so perfectly, but PizzAmoré nails it every single time.

We enjoyed a delicious supreme pizza in a very cozy and welcoming space at PizzAmore yesterday. The waitress, Christina H., was very helpful in not only serving us a great pizza, but supplying answers to our questions as we’d just arrived in town after hearing the many great reviews for their restaurant. We would love to come back! Highly recommended.

Came to pizza amore after antique searching with my friends. We sat outside in a chilly night and had a fabulous evening under the moon.we ever got the heater turned on to keep us warm. Vivian was our server and she was an absolute pleasure to have. She was attentive, gave recommendations, on food and drinks and was all around the best part of the meal. The food was amazing too and well priced. Get the berry cheesecake she sold us on it and it did not disappoint. This will now be our go to spot in mt Dora after day of reassuring hunting. 12/10.

If you are looking for small town, small restaurant feel with BIG TOWN TASTE!! This is your place! The food was very flavorful and hot, not cold like many restaurants seem to serve. Our waiter Jaydon made it an even better experience by being on top off his game. From giving us recommendations on what we might like to eat and checking on us for anything we might need. But above all was his great and caring attitude he had. This place was an old house converted to a restaurant, that and the staff makes you feel like your at home and with family. You can’t get that at many places, this was are fist time here and it won’t be are last. I have already told my wife we are going through the menu and trying everything they have. I had the lasagna and she had the crispy Florentine chicken. They where excellent. The bathrooms are very clean!!! You can always tell a restaurant is going to be good by how they maintain their restrooms! Thanks PizzaAmore’ see you soon!!!

Our experience was wonderful from the minute we arrived. We had to wait for a table and they were so helpful and kind. Our server, Jaydon was one of the best most attentive servers I have ever had. The food was tasty and they even made me a pot of coffee at 8pm.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pizza Amore! I initially had catering plans with a different caterer that fell through at the last minute. In a bit of a panic, I called Pizza Amore and spoke with Christina—and I am so glad I did.
With only four hours’ notice, Christina & George was able to put together catering for 35 people, have everything prepared, delivered, and perfectly organized. The level of customer service was beyond exceptional. She was kind, calm, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless.
The food was absolutely delicious and a huge hit with everyone. Pizza Amore completely saved the day, and I would recommend them without hesitation for any event. Thank you, Christina and Pizza Amore, for turning a stressful situation into a total success!

The wings! The wings! The wings! Go for the wings and a small pie or Stromboli or whatever. They serve alcoholic drinks, so get your beer and pizza here. It’s kid friendly but they do have a bar. My go to for my favorite award winning wings. So glad I discovered this place. Too bad it’s an hour and a half away from me. I make the trip at least every 3 months.. well worth it. I rank the pizza at a 7.8 not my favorite but decent. Get the wings! Great location great atmosphere.
