Ate here for the first time. Ordered a double Shack burger and cheese fries.
Took a bite and was like where’s the other patty. Opened it up and it looked like they just smashed one patty with pieces of another and shoved it in the burger. What was supposed to be another patty was crumbled at the bottom of the bag.
I got it for take out, so I had turned around so I could get an explanation from an employee cause I’ve never eaten here.
I hand over the burger to an employee, she pulls manager aside to look.
Manager and two other employees look at me and say, yeah that’s two.
They might as well as call it crumble burger!
Cheese frys where basic.

Today visited Shake Shack in Costa mesa and had an outstanding experience!
The customer service was absolutely amazing.
The staff were incredibly polite and responsible, checking in on us multiple times to offer refills and even cleaning up the table for us. We ordered the chicken burger, which was delicious, and paired it with their cheesy fries—both were absolutely fantastic.
I left feeling very happy and satisfied. Highly recommend Shake Shack for both their food and exceptional service!

The workers are nice and place is clean, but I ordered a chicken sandwich to go, and there was no chicken in the sandwich.. what the heck?? Got the bun, onions, avocado, lettuce, and tomatoes but no chicken
Manager said they would reach back out to me when I called, so I will update review accordingly.
Update: manager reached out within 10 minutes, seemed a bit skeptical but offered a refund or to remake the sandwich. I chose the remake and it was delicious (despite the wrong sauce being on it haha)
This was a silly experience and I know accidents happen, it will not dissuade me from coming here again in the future.

Not a super fan of Shake shack and only go when I’m using the promo codes because it really is a very expensive fast food chain compared to other places but the food is probably pressure and better quality but you’re gonna pay a premium now so on my budget it’s not like I can do this frequently. The service at this location is always a mix bag. I’m not sure what it is, but they’re not exactly the most friendly or tentative group at this location.

I literally am doing a lesson plan for school and I was on the letter k using ketchup packets. I needed about 100 and they were able to give that amount. They were so sweet and Kylie saved my life. I recommended this restaurant because the service is so good and food is amazing.

Hallie the cashier was extremely helpful and had an amazing smile! Very kind and sweet!
Nathan brought us our food and was very kind and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.

Believe it or not, I’m a pretty healthy eater. This might not be my regular meal, but it’s a favorite when I want to treat myself. I’m a bit of a newbie, but Nathan at the register helped perfect the order.

God forbid you come an hour before close. The staff will literally make sure you feel that you are not welcome by rolling their eyes to the back of their skull if you ask for a side of sauce or any question.
I also witnessed an uber eats driver come in and talk with the staff, at first I thought the driver was giving attitude, come to realize the worker was being rude to her.
Audibly said bye thank you have a good night and the lady at the front looked at me, and proceeded to ignore me.
So I said really? No response?
I get it you wanna leave work but you work in service. Having manners isn’t optional lol
