Visited for the first time today for lunch after hearing rave reviews from some friends. I think maybe the sandwiches were just a huge miss overall they were wimpy to say the least and mine had legitimately 1.5 slices of turkey on it. Little pricey for a bag of lays and probably not even two ounces of meat.
The other foods that were coming out looked pretty good so maybe we should’ve gotten something else.
The ambiance was nice and the love music was pretty good though.

Spontaneous visit to Mesilla led us to this place. We hadn’t eaten breakfast and were pretty hungry. Place has both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon so we decided to sit outside. There was live music and the woman singing was GREAT. Since it was pretty full, the music and $5 mimosas helped the time fast. It’s a bit of a wait for your food but well worth it. The pizza is delicious and their balsamic dressing for the Spinach salad was really good. Ended up using it for my pizza crusts. The servers seemed to be a tad bit confused on the drink orders/table numbering but nothing too crazy. I noticed people ordering bottles to make their own mimosas. Might help to have some ice buckets. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

We had a great afternoon at Madelyn’s. The food was great, we got the green chicken enchilada pizza, my daughter got the meat lovers calzone..so good!! Plus we got the Mediterranean salad to share. We sat in their beautiful, colorful, outdoor patio with plenty of shade (my dog honey was also able to join us) while listening to some live music. Our server James checked on us regularly and the owner personally took the time to show me around the restaurant which also had a cozy bar and coffee/pastry shop! One stop for everything in Mesilla. Its a great location for a date, coffee break or cozy cocktail. Thank you for making our experience a great one, we will definitely be back.

Beautiful coffee shop. The atmosphere is ideal. Plenty of seating in and out. Outside is so pretty and relaxing. The service was perfect. Breakfast sandwhiches were good, coffee was great and cinnamon roll was tasty! The whole little walking area around here is nice but this location takes the prize.

We popped in for a light lunch and we’re very pleased with the service, ambiance, and quality of the food at Madelyn’s.
They started out with our drinks. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was pretty good. Not over dressed, this Mary had a stalk of celery and a olive and lime for garnish. The real treat was the beverage. It was full bodies and spicy.
Liz enjoyed her Blue Hawaiian. The kids were content with their 1L bottles of soda.
The avocado toast, Liz ordered was full of avocado. They used red pepper flakes to give it a little kick. It was very good. The toast had a hint of garlic to it, maybe.
The acai bowl that I had came with four toppings I went with all the fruit toppings. Strawberry, blueberry, banana, and coconut, but honey, and or something else was also available.
I didn’t want very much to eat, so I was happy that they had smaller dishes. The kids were fine with a pizza, and they had 10″ pizzas. Noah actually finished the crusts, which he typically leaves.
There was a a guitarist that played wonderful renditions of old rock classics or newer jams. It definitely set the mood – calm and relaxing.
Our servers were very attentive and kept us in the loop as the pizza and toast came out slowly.
They also had pastries and cookies
I recommend this little place one block off the Mesilla main plaza

Loved my experience here. I’ve heard about this place before, never came until tonight and I’m mad I’ve never been before. Our server Mia was amazing and set the mood for tonight to be fun from the start. Our food and drinks were delicious as well as the lively band and warm heaters to keep us warm outside. LOVED IT HERE definitely worth the try.

Unique place to go in Old Mesilla! Food is good, especially their pizza, but it took over an Hour to get our food. Seems they are understaffed. The staff was very friendly. Atmosphere is good – an old nostalgic place. They do have live entertainment on the weekends.

Highlighting MIA. This is so delayed. So sorry Mia! Every morsel of food I’ve had at Madelyn’s, has been very tasty. From the Breakfast and Cinnamon Rolls – Best in town! Exceptional! – to the pizza on the patio. Excellent atmosphere. Awesome live band setting. However, they have Always struggled greatly with service. Especially breakfast. Confusing as to whether it’s a full service restaurant or get up and handle things yourself situation. Lacking in smooth flow. Even a brewed cup of coffee was a challenge to receive. Front counter rudeness struggles as well. Then enter Mia. MIA MIA MIA! The breath of fresh air that saved our Thursday afternoon ice coffee on the patio for me and my daughter. Very sweet soul and demeanor Mia has. First smile we’d have seen there in a while. Yes, she was this dramatic of a Positive change. Kudos and Huge shout out to Mia!!! Bless you and Happy New Year Mia! Wishing you and your sweet spirit well — Always! I don’t know you personally, but I do know that You make a true difference in this world! Take good care! Again, this is delayed. Here’s hoping service issues have improved over the last few months.

I went for brunch and it was just wonderful. The pizza was perfectly cooked with a wonderfully crunchy crust and the croissant was delicious. Also had the white mocha which was also wonderful!
