I have been a fan of Fronk’s since they were located at their original little cozy location. It was introduced to me by my brother when we lived in Bellflower. The customer service has been top notch even back then. I would often see the owner greet customers, check in on customers and just provide an overall comfortable environment – it was great to eat at Fronk’s.
Fast forward to their beautiful location on Bellflower boulevard. I see a lot of the same especially in terms of tasty (really TASTY) food. I love their BBQ menu items but yesterday I realized how delicious their sweet potato fries were!
Me and my partner ordered: a half slab of ribs, pulled pork with sausage plate (with sweet potato fries!) And a Maple bacon cheeseburger with bacon cheddar fries.
Delicious. The food was fresh, warm and just overall great quality. The customer service? Which I feel is a huge part of the experience was amazing as well. We often had servers check in on us or give us refills whenever they saw our drinks low. They asked us if we needed anything often. It really took me back to the essence of Fronk’s and it felt great.
It’s also a great place for sports! They have amazing sports decor, a bar and the service translates perfectly to the bar staff.
We watched the Dodgers a couple years ago and even though they lost to the cheating Astros it was very bearable because of the delicious Fronk’s food!

I’ve been to fronk’s a couple of times, and the food never disappointed took my mom for a pre mother’s day lunch, and it was amazing. The bartender who had to be our waiter too was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive to us. We ordered the 3 wise men’s dish, which included pork hot links, baby back ribs, and we got 3 sides with that sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, and Battered corn on the cob. My mom had a refreshing wild berry lemonade, and I had an ice tea. The restaurant was clean, and the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms could be a little better.

We come here about once a month. They have really good food and drinks. I usually get their burgers but I decided to try the shrimp and chicken skewers this time. They were SO good. I will be getting them again! Parking around there is decent, and the outdoor seating is really cool. 4 stars because the waiters that I’ve had are OK, not great, sorry to the ones I haven’t had. The bartenders are usually very cool!!

Came here for happy hour and quick bite before the show we were heading to see in the LBC , atmosphere was great seating either outside or indoors was offered music was very cool playing while the Baseball game was on…overall loved the vibe staff very friendly and quickly seated us, so please if you like onion rings like I do their batter here is on point with an extremely good Crunchy Crispy you’ll enjoy just as I did with my BBQ chicken wings which where delicious my BFF had the Chicken strips which had the same batter as the Onion Rings so definitely if you like crispy then this is a great place to enjoy those and an ice cold beer or Margarita during Happy Hour! Great burger selections and draft beers and mixed drinks! Plenty of ️ parking on side and street parking there’s also back parking. Overall loved it here for your quick or long stay delicious food choices I would definitely come back…I had visited Fronk’s ooooh way back when they were located off of Alondra “Yes there bottled hot sauce display or collection is still here!” Nena will return for a burger next time… promise

With regard to the front of the house, if you go and Val is your server, you’re in great hands.
Lemon drop was very well made. It’s unfortunate they ran out of both Chambord and St Germain.
The mixed berry lemonade was extremely tasty and plentiful!
As a lifelong lover of onion rings, these were made perfectly! The french fries were made from fresh potatoes, my fault I didn’t request they be extra crispy. The medium well patty of my blue cheese grilled mushroom burger was sublime.
The fried pickles were Spears for the first time for me today. The combination of crunch and salt was perfect!
The grilled shrimp were precisely cooked and superbly seasoned. They were supposed to be inside the red sauce wet 1lb. burrito (which my mother thoroughly enjoyed) so the discount given in lieu of not remaking the burrito was greatly appreciated. And it gave me the opportunity to taste the shrimp that would otherwise not been available to be shared. Stellar customer service from Val! Would have been 5 stars if not for the back of house.
As for the back of the house during a pandemic you need to keep your hygiene up a lot better. I informed the bartender there was no soap in the woman’s bathroom. Went back to my seat and waited 10 minutes and they still hadn’t replaced the soap. Unacceptable. 4.5 stars

This is the quintessential burger place. Classic fries, sweet potatofries -nicely seasoned, ribs, pulled pork, chicken skewers, bacon and Bleu cheese salad, fried shrimp, BBQ shrimp. Really good food, great atmosphere.Outdoor seating, heat lamps, beer variety. Fun!!! Go.

Had a great experience! Our server was great, she had the big eye lashes. She answered our questions about the menu and came by before we ran out of drinks! I ordered the chicken sandwich w fries. These sweet potato fries were especially tasty; thicker than the fries I’ve had before with a complimentary seasoning that was both sweet and savory.
For dessert, we ordered a small brownie w scoop of ice cream. It came out—brownie really warm, cold ice cream and a ton of whipped cream. Easily fed two people with some left over. Great portions and felt comfortable, especially with all the caution we’ve been having to take this last year .

there BLUE CHEESE salad is AMAZING! Good portion size on everything. Price is worth it! Great location. Nice for date night or just out with friends or the kiddos! Love this local Bellflower Spot

Re-reviewing this place for the Mexican food. It’s actually 2 stars for the Mexican food. We tried the asada burrito and the tacos. It was a mistake, the asada has what tastes like mole. I love mole but that’s not what is described. The tacos were plain, the chicken meat was tasty but didn’t make up for the plain taco. The fish taco… I’d describe it as a fish stick in a tortilla. The asada was okay, but not enough for me to ever order again. I’d suggest for them to stick to burgers and the other specialty items like the sweet potato fries.
