This was my first time visiting. I stopped based on how reviews from other users on food apps. My problem with the food was that it should not be difficult to properly cook a burger. My burger was definitely passed well done, but not quite charcoal briquette. Otherwise everything else on it made it edible, but I was just disappointed and expecting more I guess. I was not asked how I wanted the burger cooked, and most places usually cook around medium. The sides that I received were very good and cooked well. I did not catch the name of the girl that was my server. I was at the bar anyway. She was very attentive, and was on top of getting my food ordered and out to me since it was a to-go order in a very timely manner. The atmosphere was basically that of a sports bar. I don’t have a problem with that, it was just impossible to do anything else because of how loud the game was. I’m definitely interested in coming back and try and different things on the menu. I hear the rib tips and the brisket are out of this world. I won’t let one mediocre experience prevent me from coming back in the future. My advice to anybody reading this review would be to preemptively speak up about how you would like specific food items cooked. My overall impression I would have to say 7.7 / 10. If you like going out with the boys to watch a game, and grab something to eat and hang out you’ll have an amazing time. For that I definitely recommend it.

You can always guarantee The Bullpen having up to 13 popular drafts on tap, easily the most drafts in town and it’s great they have flights. Try their deep fried chicken sometime. That salty crust is so good.

Broccoli had so much lemon juice on it , it was sour
10oz NY Strip med rare blackened came out well done tough and dry and it was a flank steak not a strip the blackened seasoning was chalky

We were in town for Streater Fest and found this little hidden gem! The owners were super kind and made sure our dinner was spot on. Wait staff was super sweet as well! Huge portions and super tasty. You will not be disappointed!

The 4 piece chicken dinner is an excellent value with a wide choice of sides. The side salad is very nice–no iceberg lettuce! A great selection of beers. Our Bent River stouts were outstanding.

My husband and I had Brian and the bullpen team as our caterers for our wedding, and the food was absolutely delicious and it was definitely filling which was amazing. Brian and his team went above and beyond and was able to provide us with all the food we were hoping for! Not only is he a good business man but he’s also a gentlemen, he brought us our leftovers the next day which was so sweet and so very helpful. We look forward to eat at the bull pen restaurant very soon, and we hope to make it a tradition to go there on our wedding anniversary! Thank you again to Brian and his wonderful team!
