First time trying. Had the 3 taco dinner and it was good. They’re decorated heavily for Christmas. My only thing was the lighting, it was a little too dark for me, and the light where I was seated made everything green, so less appetizing. You know how our brain works funny sometimes. Took some home and leftovers were tasty as well.

Food is pretty good with large portions. Not a lot of flavor. The beans tasted watery with 0 flavors. Overall we will go back because it’s a decent place with decent food. The portions and prices make it more appealing The silverware was dirty and the bowl for chips was wet. I will absolutely lower my score next time if i experience anything like that. Btw our waitress was great

Waited 35 minutes for a 2 item carryout order; only two tables with people seated. Got home and didn’t receive the chips that were supposed to be in the bag for the cheese dip I paid for. Called the store, spoke to “Amy” who said she can’t give me a refund, left my name and number for the manager, “Mike” to get a refund on the chips I paid for. 4 days later and still no call from the manager! Also, the ranchero cheese dip I ordered came in a Styrofoam cup and was a glob of cheddar cheese with yellowish water surrounding it. Tried heating it up, nope, still a glob, was gross! Terrible experience and food! Stay clear!

Absolutely Terrible Customer Service Don’t Waste Your Time
I had a horrible experience at *Manuel Taco Hot, This place clearly has no respect for their customers, their own business hours, or even basic professionalism. The sign outside says they close at 10 PM. We showed up at 9:27 PM, and they turned us away saying they were closed. When we politely questioned it, the staff was rude and dismissive, saying “you can ask the owner if you want.” The owner himself didn’t care at all about customer service or honoring the hours they publicly advertise.
If they plan to close early—at 9:30 or whenever they feel like it—they should clearly state that. People make an effort to drive there based on the posted time, only to be disrespected and turned away. It’s extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. They wasted our time and showed zero accountability.
I will never go back, and I do (not )recommend this place to anyone who values their time, money, or basic human decency. They don’t deserve your business.

They didn’t have a lot of customers inside. Maybe one or two tables was occupied but my carry out order took waaay longer than it should have. They were nice and apologized but the wait was still too long. My tacos were soggy and mushy and the stuffed bell peppers that the guy recommended did not even get ate. I paid over $70 bucks for food and still end up hungry. I nibbled with ka friend and we threw majority of it out. I will NEVER go there again. I really don’t understand the good ratings. Other than they were nice but the food was horrible.

This place used to be my favorite when Gil was working there. He always did an amazing job staying on top of everything and making sure all the food looked as it should before even coming to the table. When he first was gone felt like the place lost its touch but after the last visit the waitress did a good job and they finally did some decorating again which is always a cool part of the visit. Still wish Gil was working there but none the less food and service is usually pretty good.

So this place is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around town. I’m a couple of the major holidays Halloween and Christmas. They decorate almost 100% of the space on the walls and ceiling. Definitely something to see. We went during the Halloween of 2022 and they did not do it because of staff but check back for Christmas and later. I’m sure they’ll be back to doing it again. Anyway, long story short definitely a great Mexican restaurant will be back as we have been several times
