I walked in desiring a sandwich advertised on their website. The help, who were very weak with English, did not know what the sandwiches on their website were so i asked for a current menu in the store. When they presented me with the menu i chose my sandwich, which had a totally different name, and they made my sandwich. But when they rang it up the price was about 50% more than their in store menu said. I found that unacceptable and walked out without completing the purchase. The net was they put effort into creating but got stuck with a custom sandwich. This is no way to run a business. I am declaring war on them and any other business (e.g. Carlos Pizza) I encounter who cannot present me with accurate product information until i check out. I ask all who read this to join me to send a message. I am also escalating to Suffolk County Bureau of Consumer Affairs to challenge this “new business rule” that vendors do not have to provide accurate product information until the point of check out.

It use to be pretty good but now it looks like new owners may have taken over. I ordered 2 burgers and they were burnt up, obviously frozen and tossed on a flattop. Hockey pucks on a bun, $32. I’ll be steering clear on this place

I love this deli. Even left my info for the help wanted sign. Just was disappointed to order one over easy egg with bacon and received a 2 egg fried with cheese and bacon. Still will eat there though regardless as people make mistakes.

Ordered over the phone a breakfast platter. Platter listed everything it came with and a price. When I went to pick it up the girl behind the counter said we don’t have platters and charged me ala cart. Funny when I got in my truck it had the ticket that said platter #3. I was upset but asked for the owner. They said he would be in later and I could call back. Called back three times with no response from the owner. Ultimately charged $16 and change for a breakfast platter total rip off.

If you live in North Shirley you already know. If not stop by and get one of the best breakfast sandwiches on the Island. Colin Deli is the standard around here. Lunch and dinner are amazing too. Try there Italian hero, you won’t be disappointed.
