This place was amazing. Went here with my Mum & Step-Dad. My Mum has Celiacs and thus cannot have gluten. Instead of using an already hot pot to prepare her chicken, that could have been cross contaminated they warmed up a new pot. I love that extra due diligence for people with food sensitivities.

Though I have few reasons to go to West Loveland, I have another reason now.

I had NO idea this place existed. It’s tucked at the end of a strip mall in Loveland CO.

Random luck I stopped. Random.

Thank God for random luck. I ordered Hibachi as an “easy win” for a most excellent dish. However, after I sat down, I changed position to the bar, so I could watch the sushi chef.

Here is where it got interesting…

After around 2 minutes of watching the “master” create a lunch roll and sashimi platter (which is priced less than your McDonalds meal) looked crazy amazing.

Sooooooooo… long story short. I dined in. I sat at the bar. I got to meet the owners/management, and they are super nice and very accommodating for this old man.

The Hibachi is to die for. Never had better. It’s just THAT good.

The lunch rolll/sashimi special is being eaten as I type this. And it’s better than anything I used to find in the Dallas area.

Overall they get an easy 11 out of 10 from the TacoCat.

I’ll be back. Better believe it!!!

Also, the decor is amazing. Check out the cool lamps over the first 3 booths on the left when you arrive. Pretty cool, right? Yes, yes it is cool. TacoCat likes cool places. You guys rock!!!

(inside joke: Please never seat me near the free money again. It’s a temptation I don’t need. 🙂

Mr. Chen’s has always been our favorite for sushi, shrimp fried rice, won tons, & seaweed salad. We took it to go often on the way up the mountain but we dined in for the first time last week – talk about mind blowing. When you don’t think something can get better because it’s already so good but Wow! Fresh, in house is Amazing! I took my colleagues the next day & they Loved it! Great spot! I highly recommend you don’t want to miss out on this gem for sushi or Chinese food.

Quality is amazing. My girlfriend doesn’t get off work till late and Mr. Chen being open till 930 was perfect because I was having some sushi cravings. The salmon roe was perfection, and the spicy tuna was perfect. The crab roll was crunchy and the avocado eel was perfect. Miso soup was nice warm and filling the egg drop soup was perfection. Will be back for sure.

Very good food. I recommend either the Mr Chen roll or the twilight roll. Service is exceptional with very kind employees. There is no shortage of delicious food no matter what you’re looking for. Chinese cuisine, look no further than Mr.Chen’s sushi and hibachi steakhouse. I have no complaints and have become a regular customer. I personally know the owner as a very kind person.

Had a long day of cycling and Loveland was the first stop on my tour. What a nice surprise to find this sushi place just a couple of blocks from where I was staying. Excellent food and very attentive service! It’s right off the main drag (Eisenhower) in Loveland, so it’s super easy to get to if you’re passing through.

My wife and I are always hesitant to try new sushi places (especially since she doesn’t eat sushi). Mr. Chens Sushi and Hibachi did NOT disappoint! There were so many options for wife and she loved her Singapore Mei Fun and there were plenty of left overs. The sushi was lovely! I got a bulldog roll and an explosion roll. The rice was crispy, giving the sushi an even better texture. The service was fast and our server was very nice. Highly recommended if you’re looking for new places to try! Don’t let the outside fool you.

Excellent service while I visited this place from out of state with local family. Food was fantastic. Food came quickly after we ordered. Everything was fresh and hot. With everybody ordering different items we were able to get a variety of different items. Will have to return on our next trip.

After I saw this cute sign outside of this restaurant promoting their new items, I knew I had to try it out. I ordered the noodle soup bowl and my boyfriend ordered the ramen bowl. Both were impeccable! They were carefully made, and the flavors were so authentic! Also, I didn’t know that the noodle soup bowl was 20% off right now because it was a new item, so that’s a win for me! The interior of this store was so pretty, even the bathrooms were nice and clean, and the staff were REALLY nice. 10/10 would recommend this place if you have time!

For starters we had egg drop soup which was the best I have ever had, salad with ginger dressing good but not great, the tempura shrimp also good but missing flavor. I had the bulldog roll and it was just okay due to the strong fish taste from the salmon. My husband had the chicken and shrimp hibachi. The chicken and the fried rice lacked flavor but the shrimp and veggies made up for it because they were pretty great. The service was great, the ambiance was nice, and overall it was a good experience.
