Why the name is Dive Bar no idea. There is nothing dive about this place. Sat at the bar, served 1 beer. Ordered the burgoo special. Awful. It was greasy and did not taste good. Bartender sat it down in front of me and never saw him again for over 20 to 25 minutes to see if I needed anything. Would have liked to had a second beer but was over this place.

I loved Hilltop, and so far, I’m loving Dive Bar. They kept a lot of the staples on the menu, but also added other things, too (the dumplings are so good). Almost all of their staff moved with them. Drinks are still super cheap. Dive Bar is super clean, and it’s cute inside with murals and designs done by a local artist. The music changes from night to night, but there is also a Touch tunes. Video game systems, air hockey, a pool table, darts, and more…they have all the things. The outside patio is gorgeous, and definitely dog friendly. I’m excited to keep hanging out here!
