I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. My family and I moved right behind this local when I was but 3 years old, I am 19 now. Not only did these workers watch me grow up but they always attended me with kindness. My mother would send me to this bakery for bread whenever we had visitors and needed some snack or even on Saturday or Sunday mornings when all we wanted for breakfast was some hot chocolate and great, tasteful, right out the oven, sweet bread. I always ate my food not paying attention to taste, but now that I am older, I pay close attention to taste, and it is my humble opinion to say that out of all the bakery’s I have been to, this is by far the best. I just had a Concha with chocolate today, and I would be more than glad if that was my last meal. Every bite of that Concha brings with it a new sensation to each taste bud. It is refreshing, it pulls me out of the real world and brings me into some sort of dream land. It relaxes me. Best Concha in East LA, I would even go as far as to say that it is the best in the world. But I think there are competitions for that type of stuff. Love this place, love the service, the food, the location, all of it. If I ever move out far from this place I would not mind coming back just to taste their sweet bread once more.
