New owners, BEWARE. Will not be returning after coming here for 3+ years. Used to love their house made potato chips but was told they don’t offer them anymore even though they’re on the menu. 3/4 of the entrees were wrong. The wrap that says comes with fries on the paper menu and online, in fact, did not come with fries. Instead of just bringing us fries, they comped our drinks. Come to get the bill and the chicken caesar wrap with NO FRIES was $24 where on the menu it says $20. Mind you, the steak sandwich was $23. How a lettuce wrap with no side costs more than a literal steak sandwich is beyond me. All said, our waiter was great, he did everything he could for us. There was not even a manager to talk to, or maybe they were hiding in the back because their new owners suck. Sad to say we won’t be back when we loved this place for years. 0/10

A Crispy Chicken sandwich with hot sauce on the side is the way to go. It’s good to control how much hot sauce goes on your sandwich. Wish they had more non-alcoholic beer selections. We went during trivia night so it was a little loud but it wasn’t that bad.

I’ve been there twice because I was meeting people who like the place. I’ve not been impressed either time. Sayville has a number of places that are comparatively priced with better atmosphere and very likeable wait staff and bartenders.

We paid our 50 dollar bill with a credit card and left a generous tip on the table not realizing our waiter already took a tip out with the bill. I’m sorry I never heard of a waiter taking his own tip. I always thought it had to be a party of 8 it or more. I will not be back . Waiter received a 21 dollar tip for a 50 dollar meal.

Very cool local joint. Took over the old Irish Exit. It’s nice and cozy. Hard to find a seat, very busy which is a good sign. Staff was nice but not overly nice. I had to stand for first half hour at my table because there were no chairs. I found my own chair eventually, no staff bothered to do it. I asked for napkins and place setting, never got one. A few things like that were annoying but not deal breaking. Food was real good. Soups and burgers are very good. Drink was great. Zombie. Good price, good amount of alcohol and a deep glass, that’s what we likes. We will be back. #barsnobs

Local Sayville bar with great food and atmosphere. The decor is nautical which fit the name if the restaurant and bar. Highly recommend for anyone looking for good food and live music on Saturday nights. Glad we visited Sayville Bait and Tackle!

Friendly staff and patrons. Relaxing atmosphere with tons of interesting things to look at. Left off a star because lobster roll was listed as market price, didn’t think to ask how much but it was $37. Not very big for what I consider a big price. Was good.
