We wanted to offer the community something they could experience on the streets of Mexico” says restaurant owner Ericka Santana. “Our house tacos feature a traditional “al pastor” process of slow roasting pork, marinated with pineapple, chiles, and spices — a fusion of flavor that provides a truly authentic Mexican experience. Culture, tradition, family, and friends in just one bite – that’s a taco!”

Reviews
The wait for food felt like it was longer than most places, I would say at least 20-25 minutes. It’s definitely made to-order but that doesn’t excuse the time.
The tamales had an extremely spicy green chili sauce on them. Granted, we are white people, but this definitely exceeds the typical spice you would expect from a standard dish. The tamales and filling itself was quite tasty.
The pastor street tacos were pretty good, the tortillas were above average, the chicken street tacos were more spicy than you would expect, but not to the level of the tamales.
The “ultimate” pork belly taco was definitely the low-light of the show. The pork is deep-fried so that it’s dry and chewy and any crisp from the breading is offset by sadness. Nothing like a typical pork belly that you would get at a ramen place. Even just pan searing the pork belly would’ve been better.
$53 for 5 street tacos, 1 “ultimate” pork belly taco, a tamales plate, and a side of rice.
This is exactly a 3-star place, right in the middle of the pack.
Usually I read through reviews and laugh, this time I agree with every one of the negative reviews. Where do I begin?
Unlike some, we were greeted at the door, so that’s a plus. (One of the few I have to share) The experience went down hill after that. The server brought out two waters, the glasses were dirty and had zero ice in them. My wife ordered chips and salsa, $6 extra, not free like most places. The salsa was not mild, it was extremely hot. Not ideal for people who don’t eat spice and for children. The chips had zero salt, no color, some were soft, and it left an extremely poor after taste.
Main course: wife ordered street tacos (all carnita), and I ordered the fajita burrito. Both meals had zero taste. I could have done better making tacos with the generic packets you get at Walmart. Have the cooks ever heard of salt and pepper, let alone Mexican spices? I attached a picture of my burrito. The sauces, the steak, everything involved was bland. Once again these meals left a bad after taste like the chips.
Bill: $48 and change for a soda, chips and salsa, and two main courses. I paid cash, it took him almost 10 minutes to bring my change, and he gave me $11. I don’t care about the coins, but he didn’t bring them.
Service- horrible
Food- beyond horrible
Ambiance/establishment- bad
In the mood for tacos, we stopped at this place because “it sounded good” WRONG WRONG WRONG.
The “service” was almost non existent, finally the girl came over to get our order. You could barely hear her because she just whispers. Ordered food and drink. After 15 minutes we had to ask for our drinks again. Then in another 15 minutes half of the food showed up and we asked for the rest, she looked surprised and realized she didn’t put in the order. When the first food showed up no utensils were given either. We waited and waited after 20 minutes we just got up and left. Never tasted anything, it looked ok, definitely didn’t look like what we ordered but it looked ok. Horrible place, would never ever eat here, or try to eat here. HARD PASS.
This would have been 19.29% taxes. A quick internet search shows that the Town of Estes Park has a combined sales tax of 8.7%.
The manager was, of course, not available, and so the waitress was left holding the bag. When I expressed my disappointment, she offered to pay me out of her own funds, but I said no. Clearly, their point of sale system has some errors in it that favor the establishment and need to be corrected ASAP!!!
I’d recommend finding another restaurant to eat at.
