Best coffee in Baldwin County. A very euro feel to it, this downtown Foley shop has a great vibe, wonderful staff and delicious eats. I enjoyed the peanut butter cookie and my friend had a breakfast sandwich heated up. We both had drip coffee which was the perfect cup!

The smoothies say “real fruit” but I got a strawberry pure instead of fresh frozen strawberries, I also ordered a regular americano coffee for my husband. My friend had pineapple and mango juice concentrates on her smoothie ♀️. I’m sure of this info because I saw while they were doing it. That is false advertisement. Very disappointing for a place that is specifically for smoothies/coffee
The place is really cute and vintage and it’s lovely for a date or really any occasion, it looked that the ready to go breakfast sandwiches from the fridge were a fav because everyone was getting one.

We stopped in for a Geo Cache gathering. The coffee was hot and delicious. We also got some White Chocolate Raspberry scones. The scones were absolutely delicious. Best ever.

The energy drinks are so good! They have A LOT of caffeine though. Probably fine if you drink a red bull or two a day already. Very affordable! And they have bagels! Will try those next time!
*First Indoor Visit– Very hip, very Cozy atmosphere. Met up with a friend. I got the peppermint chocolate latte and she got the campire smore’s , both from the seasonal menu. I had already taken a sip of mine but they both looked SO pretty, the staff member at the register was so super helpful and patient in answering all my questions, including those regarding allergies In Detail and happy to include extra info as well. They don’t have as many food options as other places but the food appears mostly or partially fresh, looks tasty, i didn’t have any but i will definitely be back for the amazing coffee.

I got a cappuccino and a white mocha and both tasted really bad. The white mocha didn’t have enough coffee, and WAY too much syrup. The cappuccino was very bitter and tasted like low quality coffee beans. It just was a bit underwhelming for $13.

This is a MUST GO stop in the Gulf Shores area. We were visiting for the first time on vacation and stopped by to look through our stash of books we purchased at the used bookstore around the corner from the coffee shop.
The atmosphere is amazing! It is in an old time filling station and the decorations take every advantage of highlighting this theme so creatively.
The staff were excellent and the coffee and food items we got were delightful.
The only drawback was that it was a scorchingly hot day and there was just an industrial fan on the floor–no AC. It worked with the decor and vibe, bit not for comfort!
I would still visit this coffee shop if they lit a fire in the middle of July!

Cool spot! Drowsy Poet is a quaint coffee shop located in Foley, which is about 20 minutes north of Gulf Shores. I stopped here for about 30 minutes before driving back to Texas in order to enjoy some quite reading and a hot coffee. The inside is spacious, with two different rooms filled with chairs and tables. There is also an outside patio, if you’re into stuff like that. The black coffee wasn’t anything mind-blowing, but they seemed to have a lot of different different flavored lattes that looked good. The staff was also really kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend if you’re in town!

I am stopping by the Drowsy Poet coffee shop on my way to my listing appointment! It is a very nice and unique place in Downtown Foley. You can have various pastry, variety of coffee drinks, etc. Customer service is great. All the employees are pleasant and helpful.
There were a lot of people watching young lady performing outside.
