Luis is a great, casual spot for classic Mexican favorites for all party sizes! Their prices are reasonable and you get a lot of value with your orders. Their happy hour has a very generous range (Mon-Fri 3-7pm!!) and has a variety of margaritas and beer specials. Their Quesabirria tacos were our favorite food from our order, as they were remarkably flavorful and crispy!

Our first time in Luis’s. We went during happy hour. My wife and I ordered the fajitas for two. The portions were more like we had both ordered each a single. It was very busy, but stayed steady with customers. We had a great waiter that checked often but didn’t bother us. We will eat here again when in Huntsville, Alabama. The fajitas were seasoned just right and not overcooked. It was very wheelchair friendly.

The food was not flavored very well. The pork carnita pieces were really dry and not juicy like I am used too.
They did not know what Chile Verde was. I’ve never had a creamy tomatilla sauce before either most I’ve had were runny not creamy.
I would have given 3 stars but the margaritas were really strong and I like that…so 4 stars for the margaritas.

We were looking for a new Mexican place to eat on the south side of Huntsville. Pleasantly surprised that it was tucked in a mixed office complex.
We were excited at the variety of on tap beers! So cold and delicious.
Our host greeted us and cheerfully took our drink orders, he did give us time to look over the extensive menu.
I settled on Cameronas chili rellaneo and my husband Carne Asada. The meals came out very hot and they did not disappoint!
We will come back again!
