Really disappointing experience. Got takeout from this place and ordered the crab rangoon, General Tso’s chicken, vegetable chow mein, beef & broccoli, white rice, and fried rice. The crab Rangoon was the only good part of the experience, and it wasn’t priced >$1 per piece like nearly every Chinese restaurant in Atlanta. The General Tso’s chicken was more like General Tso’s breading. Every piece was 90% breading and 10% chicken. The beef and broccoli was fine, but still subpar because the beef was quite chewy and the sauce thick & slimy. I couldn’t find a single noodle in the vegetable chow mein (seriously, look at the picture and tell me if you can identify one). The sweet-and-sour sauce is more like sweet and sour Jell-O. The rice is fine, but hard to mess that up so I won’t give it much praise. I generally judge places with the question, “would I ever eat here again?” I can answer that question with a swift and certain “No.” Save yourself the trouble, time, and money by taking a First look at this place in Woking away.

Went in hoping to have a good meal. The interior was run down and the man working was very rude. Explains why there was no one there. I tried to order food and was ignored. Another customer walked behind me he greets them and put his hand in my face to step aside. I almost hit him. But I just left and promised I’d write this review. Do not go there they are terrible

Great food and fantastic staff. I ordered the Beef lo mein and Beef with mixed vegetables, and both were great. We’ll be coming again!

We ordered take out form this place and the food was average. I can’t tell which one of these dishes is kung pao kitchen but the restaurant assured me it is. They offered that I bring it back so they would refund but if we are 20 mins away it’s just not worth it. Lesson learnt check your order before leaving the restaurant. Don’t think I will order again from here.

I ordered lunch today and it was for sure hot but very old and hard rice also very dry. Definitely ruined my lunch. Good customer service but I would not recommend eating at this restaurant.

While the service was fast and friendly the food was not good. We ordered shrimp fried rice and mixed vegetables. The fried rice was very plain. We saw two carrots no peas no egg, nothing and the rice was overcooked. The vegetables were okay but I ordered garlic and spicy and it was neither of those. Not really mixed either. I’m used to bok choy, cabbage, bamboo shoots, water chestnut and I didn’t taste any of those. It was heavy on broccoli, bell peppers, mushroom and baby corn which was good. I’m not sure if I would try again. It’s very close to home but I prefer GOOD food.

I’m so grateful 1st Wok was open on Christmas Day! My DoorDash order didn’t come through because the stupid driver stole the food. So I went to 1st Wok instead to get enough food for my family of 9. They greeted me with kind spirits & were very patient with all my questions. I loved the fried rice & my family really enjoyed the dumplings! The wings were okay I would say maybe 3.5/5 but everything else I would give 5/5! I highly recommend 1st Wok for some good, inexpensive Chinese food 🙂

I dislike leaving negative reviews but this place is just sad. I read the decided,y mixed reviews and said, ok, the people who like it seem to REALLY like it, so let’s give it a try. Place was almost empty on a Friday night, which should have told us all we need to know. We ate in with food served on styrofoam plates, like at a bad school cafeteria. The ingredients appeared fresh but the food was bland and it all tasted the same – seemed like they used one bucket of sauce with different names on the menu. Much better options on Buford for about the same money.
