Yuck experience, serving size is too big and from that’s where everything goes downhill.

No flavour in the dishes, paneer sauce was watery and bland.
Chickpeas were acceptable.
Rice was too dry.
Naan wasn’t fresh, prepared many hours ago.

2 stars, don’t waste your time please.

Well, good portions, and good food. We shared 2 plates for the 4 of us and it was enough. Not sure how to rate the “atmosphere” since you’re in the noisy space of a food court.

If you LIKE Indian food, then you will definitely LIKE “A Taste of India.” I ordered the chicken masala,,eggplant, rice with a little lentil soup over the rice. It was a lot of food for me. It took two sittings to finish it. Also came with bread.
It tasted like a satisfying, healthy meal, delicious. When it comes to spice, I have a baby mouth. I have a low tolerance for anything too hot. The eggplant was a little spicy for me, but I still enjoyed it.
The staff friendly & helpful.
I will definitely be back next time I’m in the mall. I recommend “A Taste of India.”

I’ve eaten here for years and never had any real complaints. But this last time was disappointing. The portion and flavor of chicken curry I got was good. But the sauce was more watery and thin than usual and the most disappointing was the naan. Normally that is my favorite part, but this time not only is the naan half the size but you can tell its from a package and not homemade. The old one you could tell was made fresh and cooked in the proper way and it was twice as big. If im paying $20 for an entree portion I at least expect the bread to be fresh and not pre packaged. Especially when I can spend a little more than half anywhere else in the food court for the same amount and food and it would include a drink.

I don’t eat a lot of Indian food, but I went up to the counter and explained I was vegetarian and the cook showed me a bunch of options including a dish with curry spinach and mozzarella which tasted like chicken breast it was great.

They also have curry chickpeas, a cauliflower dish, curry potatoes, and a few other options. The flavor was great and I can’t wait to come back to try some other options. The vegetable samosa was also very good, filled like a falafel.

They also make a great mango smoothie, and best of all the entire staff is incredible friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend it.

Having desi Indian or Pakistanis restaurant in a mall cafeteria is absolutely unique in New York area. The food was hot and served with a fresh nan for which I had to wait few minutes more. Definitely recommend it for a good meal.

This place gets 5⭐️! I came to the mall to “not shop”. The food looks & smells delicious. I had to try it. But my phone wouldn’t tap & the wifi was a bit slow tonight. The entire team decided to patiently work with me to get my order done. After a brief pause, the wifi loaded!!! I’m so happy I didn’t choose another spot. My food was perfect. The smiles and customer service were exactly what I needed to start my week off right. I highly recommend this place. It’s inside the food court @ Roosevelt Field. I’m definitely coming back. I love great customer service and they have it here. The good food is a plus.

We only got the samosas here (1 per order), but they are HEFTY. At around $3 each, I feel like these are a great deal, especially considering the tiny samosas I’ve seen elsewhere from other Indian restaurants. These are packed with a scrumptious, savory potato and pea mixture that was piping hot. With generous tips in the accompanying tamarind sauce, this was a wonderful appetizer to grab in the Dining District at the mall.

It’s was good to see halal option in the mail .I love spicy but any Indian food too much oil. Palok PONIR was not fresh enough.
Sister greeted with Salam that was the best part of this place.
Hope they think about more healthy cooking because I came to mall often.
