Los Paisanos is my FAVORITE place to eat in Somerville! All of the food is authentic, delicious, and reasonably priced! My favorite dishes are Tacos de Pascado (Fish Tacos) and the Pupusas which are always made fresh to order and I travel from Back Bay to Somerville to eat here, that’s how awesome the food is! The restaurant is very clean, great service, there is always plenty of comfortable seating, and the atmosphere works for both casual eating or a casual date, groups, and is family friendly. (I personally prefer the food here to the food at Taco Loco just my personal opinion)

The food was absolutely delicious! They have some of the best pupusas around the area. The music playlist they had was full of hits so it made the meal really enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back for more pupusas.

This is the first review I’ve ever written, and it’s because the experience was genuinely that bad. I ordered a torta sandwich for takeout, and they gave me tacos instead. The tacos were mostly vegetables with barely any meat. The pupusas were burnt, dry, and had almost no cheese or beans—they were so bad I couldn’t even finish them. When I called to let them know about the mistake, they didn’t seem to care and told me I “should have called instead of ordering online.” For a takeout order, the least they could do is double-check it before handing it over. I won’t be ordering from here again.

This place was so amazing!! The service is exceptional, the atmosphere cozy!! Went here to celebrate and it did not disappoint!! The food was of the chains delicious and the Tres Leches cake at the end was the perfect ending to a wonderful night!! This will be our go to!! Thanks for the amazing meal!!

I came with my girlfriend to try some good Latin American food. I have to say, this place was exquisite. Very cute decor, good music, good vibes. The gentleman who served us was very nice and friendly, gave us good recommendations and advice on how to eat the food in an authentic way. The food was amazing, the flavours were incredible. We had the pupusas and the carne asada. They were both great. We don’t live in Boston, but we will definitely come back to this restaurant in the future if we ever come back to the city!!

Los Paisanos has best fish tacos in Somerville! I’ve tried their other seafood soup and rice dish as well as the beef tacos and I highly recommend! The service was pretty awesome too. I will be going back with my friends again.

The staff is friendly but this is a pretty noisy place and the food took a while to be prepared. The portion sizes are really small. The attached picture is of pollo a’la planche, which comes with tortillas and chicken served on rice with salad and beans on the side. This cost me a little less than $13 (including taxes), which in my opinion is not worth it. The food was just okay; nothing great.

I ordered the breakfast plate through Uber eats this morning. I’ve ordered this plate in the past and never had an issue. However, this time they thought it was okay to throw in the MOST stale and dry plantains onto my plate. Completely unacceptable, will never buy from here again.
