The guy working there have a frowny face and has no patience while I am trying to pick and ask about the donuts he left me, no patience no smile and they charge a $.99 on credit card if less than $10 transaction. I’m not sure if that is correct, and he give me plain receipt and I went back for detailed one

This Winchell’s was in the opening scene of the Silvester Stallone movie COBRA in 1985. The Barber Shop next door was also open back then.

I came in at noon on a Wednesday and was the only person in the store. It’s 2025 and they still charged me $.99 to use my card because I bought less than $10 with of stuff. So my donut, which likely cost them about 50 cents to make, cost $4. I know the price of everything is going up but that’s just ridiculous and there are much better options in the area. Judging by their horrible Google rating, it seems like this place needs to start rethinking how they approach business.

They also told me I wasn’t able to bring my dog in, and any place that does that will never see me again (except Costco, because it’s Costco… but I kind of hate them for that too lol)

I paid with a debit card , but there’s a .99 cents addition to my bill for what ?

I am a regular customer, and today I experienced significant disappointment. Upon entering, I was not greeted, prompting me to ring the bell for assistance. The staff member who usually prepares our sandwiches and milkshakes did not appear to be in a good mood today. When I inquired about ordering sandwiches, he informed me that they were not available. I then requested a milkshake, but he also declined, stating that he was not making any milkshakes today. As a result, our only option was donuts.

The place looks fine, and the menu options seem appealing, but the actual food doesn’t match the description. It is not tasty, and in the burrito called ‘bacon burrito,’ there is almost no bacon—it’s nearly invisible. The price I was charged was 40% higher than what was posted on the menu, and the person at the counter didn’t understand my questions, responding inappropriately to everything I said.

Gross…
Workers touching money and everything on the counter, then grab my food bare hands with no gloves.
The plastic lid didn’t fit my cup, so they take the old lid back and put it back on the stack after I was touching it and they touched it bare hands.
When I commented, the workers gave zero cares, and it’s obvious they do this all day, and will continue to do this all day.
I get they came from a different country with different standards, but we don’t do that here. We wear gloves and have standards.

Will not be coming back and debating on having a friend at the health department come check this place out, the kitchen looked gross and I’m debating even eating this food or just tossing it out since I lost my appetite…
