First time here and enjoyed a very nice meal. My son & I split a medium (half Hawaiian/half veggie) pizza. The toppings were plentiful and tasty. The crust was just perfect.
We also shared a large Caesar salad. The serving was quite ample although a very mild flavor. Was a light dressing & did not detect any garlic.
I chose a hard cider from their cooler- I asked for a glass but it was a bit warm. I prefer a frozen glass instead.
The prices were decent & the staff friendly. I’d definitely return for the pizza

My husband and I have frequented mama J’s numerous times in the last year. We moved to Penngrove and this pizzeria is one of the benefits. I’m a pizza snob and can honestly attest this is the best, most flavorful, yummy pizza. The toppings are plentiful! We always get the Joes special. The salads are amazing too. Half order is ample for both of us! Wonderful owner Jessica takes pride in her business and you feel her warmth after stepping in. Staff is super friendly, Riley and Carly are so sweet. This is our go to- give it a try, you’ll be glad you did!!!

Stopped in on a whim and so glad we did! We ordered a large salad and were brought 2 plates (without asking) so we could share. I have to forego so many pizza/Italian places because they don’t have GF dough or pasta, but they do!! Only in a Medium, which is the same as every other pizza spot, but it was great. Really flavorful salad with the strawberries – the vinaigrette was delicious. And “The Gammy” veggie pizza was superb, very flavorful without garlic. (I hate when the garlic is overdone). Very happy with our experience.

Ordered 2 Large pizzas for delivery. Both pizzas had large voids where there was no cheese or toppings. Received a notification that our order was ready and took an extra 45 minutes to be delivered, needless to say it was cold.

Unique fun pizzeria in the cute town of Penngrove. It has a Caribbean island feel outside in the eating area and a warm friendly atmosphere. The owner Joe makes you feel at home and serves the food with a smile on his face My family enjoyed a delicious Greek salad, pizza and mozzarella sticks. Thanks for being in business!

We ordered a large Papa Mimo’s Supremo and loved it. Cooked to perfection, good amount of toppings and the crust was exceptional. Very friendly staff, great service and fair pricing. I would highly recommend!

Stopped in for a slice and a soda. $6.50 lunch special with a fountain soda a big slice. I liked the price, the pizza was really good due to both a spicy pepperoni as well as the perfect sauce-to-everything else ratio on the slice. The employees were happy and helpful and the head honcho was even up for some witty banter. I’ll upgrade to 5 stars after more dining experiences. (There is a meatball sando on the menu so I WILL be back.)

We love going to Mama J’s. The crust is absolutely delicious. The Josephine is my favorite pizza ever. If you like clams you really should give it a try. The mozzarella sticks have a great cheese pull. There are seats inside with a cute area outside to sit as well.
