What a great find.
Our first time in and certainly we will return. The food was wonderful and the drinks were well crafted. The smoked turkey was delicious and I really enjoyed the potato salad. Smoked wings were very good and everything is better with Kiko sauce!
I’d love to see some smoked vegetables on the menu, but everything we had was great.

Wings had good smoke flavor but the seasoning over powered it. Meat was cooked to perfection, but could have used a small amount of seasoning. BBQ sauces were amazing. Service was great.

Quite the experience at the newest restaurant in the Fox Valley. First off, the design of the place is right at home in Wicker Park or West Town Chicago. Contemporary modern with TVs and an adult playlist. Onto the sauces… there are 2. One is a smoother, rusty red colored sauce similar to something you would find in the southern USA. The other is a chunky, spice filled, smokey bbq like sauce that has very unique flavors. Finally, the meats are perfect. Nothing like any bbq around. Perfectly cooked, fresh, and fills the air. The tacos are delicious and the mac is to die for. Will be back soon!

Never have had such a rude server in our life. This guy mid meal handed us a bill said we can’t even finish our food.
Manager comes over and states no you can finish dining but you need to pay and leave.
No real explanation.
All I know is our server was clearly on lunch break eating at table when we walked in and the bar tender forced him to get up and seat us upstairs.
In addition to all that we order Ice Tea and asked for some pink sweetener, he never brought the sweetener and then got mad about us not wanting to drink unsweetened iced tea and asked for a pop instead.
Not a cheap place to eat $202 for 5 guys and this server blew that 20% gratuity away.
Maybe I’ll be back on a different night and pray for a better server.

We ordered The Franklin platter for take out for New Year’s Eve. The food was excellent! It was a special treat to enjoy the variety of meats, sides and barbeque sauces. We especially enjoyed the smoked turkey, pulled pork, mac n cheese and the K (kickin’?) bbq sauce. Thanks for making the great spread for take out.

Everything we had was delicious, unique, and was super affordable. Very fun atmosphere. Local beers. Very good old fashioned. Every staff was super attentive and friendly. Burnt ends and brisket were fan favorites. Will definitely return!

Easily the best BBQ in the area by a mile. Not only do they have a giant poster of Han Solo in carbonite, which in my nerd mind is epic, but they’re food is AMAZING and fills you up! I order the Rodney, and it has bacon AND pulled pork! So good! Seriously, there’s so much pork in that sandwich its necessary to make a mess in order to eat it. I love eating from here!

Great local BBQ. My go to is the brisket with the Turkish bbq sauce. Although if you are lucky enough to wander in on a Sunday morning when brunch is being served, get the breakfast burrito.
