On a Sunday we were heading elsewhere but when we drove past we did a U turn and stopped in. Been meaning to check it out. IT was late lunch time not crowded at all the atmosphere is very welcoming. Although we sat at the bar for a burger and a beer. The dinning area is a nice size room. We met Gary very friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent. Had a mush and Swiss burger perfect I well order that again. . Plus the salad bar great selection crisp and fresh. Had my favorite beer on tap. We’ll be back. Want to try the Fish fry. Looks like a great place to watch a Packer game. Huge tv behind the bar. We also met bartender Debbie. Very polite and friendly. I recommend a stop in.

Haven’t been to Gary’s in maybe a year. We went to hear the band last night and were pleasantly surprised to find prime rib on the menu. I had the queen cut. It came med rare as ordered and was flavorful. A bit too much rosemary for me but still good. Very reasonable at $16.95 salad bar and soup.

Been here a couple of times. The food has been good each time. Last time I tried the prime rib and it was great. Dinners come with potato (your choice of type) and the salad bar. Prices are reasonable. The inside of the place is casual and nicely decorated in sort of a up north grandmas house style.

Food and atmosphere was great. Every meal comes with soup or salad where you get it yourself so it’s exactly what you want. We had the ny steak, chicken strips, lasagna, buffalo wings and pretzel bites and they were all amazing. I’d recommend this to ball my friends. All the staff is friendly and helpful with menu choices. Going again tomorrow to try their fish fry!

Nice place great atmosphere. Was so excited they had a salad bar even those it was very basic. Soup was average crackers stale.
Our dinner was slow to arrive. Our guess is that our waitress skipped or forgot about us. Fish was sorta warm but tasty. Fries were cold like if you ate the at home after taking them there in a box.
Think it would have been great if it was served hot.
Manager apologized and offered a desert and said that he was fixing the waitress issue tomorrow and gave us a card for two free fish frys. WE will try it again.

Some of the best food I have had since we moved out this way 6+ years ago! If they have the prime rib sandwich its to die for. My husband said the Wind Lake Burger was one of the best burgers he has had and the tots are really great especially for carry out during the Stay at Home orders.

Excellent food and service. It was a great value as well. My wife and I fed ourselves and our three boys (two are teenagers) for a very affordable amount. The owner Gary is very attentive to his guests coming by our table many times to make sure everything was to our liking. Would highly recommend you give it a try.

Atmosphere was great and the place was very clean. I had the Prime Rib and would recommend this strongly. In my top three of best all time and I have had PR through out the country, including Kansas City.
