I had the pleasure of hosting a large Austin singles mixer on Christmas at this venue. The owner was extremely professional, kind, and understanding when it came to planning the mixer. I work and defeating long hours, so I am not always the best at communicating plans or changes. However, the owner was patient, understanding, and helped me masterfully plan this large event.

The staff was also extremely professional. They prepped in advance for the mixer and had a reserved table ready. They were quick and diligent in catering to over 100 guests and went above and beyond in welcoming everyone who attended on Christmas. Words cannot describe how much I highly I recommend The Eleanor and Miracle on 5th Street for events and as a bar.

One more thing I would like to highlight is the diversity of the staff, which I truly appreciate. As a Black woman, diversity is extremely important to me, and there are some downtown bars that lack it. However, this bar goes above and beyond. I saw people who look like me, women, and even LGBTQIA+ staff members. The team is not only diverse and welcoming, but it is clear that they love where they work. They all looked happy and treated my guest special on Christmas.

Thank you, Eleanor, for being an amazing bar and for taking such great care of an Austin community on Christmas.

This is ridiculously expensive for the experience. Although very festive, it’s $25 each just to wait in a long line for general admission with NO seating. Get there when it first opens or you’ll be standing waiting for an hour. Service is fine. Food is good. Atmosphere is so amazing!! Need to nit charge so much! Ridiculous! Be better 🙁

Just know that a reservation means absolutely nothing. My friends and I booked the party of 15 group reservation a month ago for my birthday. It was supposed to mean access to the mezzanine and skip the line at the door if there was one. We get there and they put us at a picnic table by the shotski bar. Basically the GA. When we tried to go up to the mezzanine they told us it was booked for “a private event” First we heard of it after paying upwards of $500 just for entry and access. When we asked some of the hostesses they told us we could “take it up with eventbrite” ok cool story. We booked it straight from the miracle on 5th website. In the end they had no choice but to issue a refund. The management is clearly a bunch of money hungry snakes. I think everyone should avoid this place like the plague til they are forced to close up shop. We left and went next door to the powder room. Definitely the first time I’ve ever experienced buying tickets for a reservation weeks in advanced to be booted out and never told and just given the bottom of the barrel and they hoped we didn’t notice. Never going again and will definitely be sharing this experience far and wide. An absolute joke! Happy holidays said no one from miracle on 5th!

I would say to only go here for the drinks and the Christmas theme. The decorations are nice and the drinks are good. The cookies taste like store bought cookies that you bake at home, not worth the price. My sister had the tamales and she didn’t like them. I would say to eat somewhere else before you go. It is kinda’ small they have an upstairs bar as well but it gets crowded not much seating.

Glad we went when admission was free. $20 cocktails and an overly decorated space is not worth a ticket price. There wasn’t anything truly special about the experience, it’s simply a bar decorated for Christmas. Hardly any seating/space to congregate and a sandwich served on a holiday paper plate is nothing to write home about. There are way better options in town.

What an amazing experience. As soon as you walk into this place, you are transformed into a winter wonderland. The space is huge and has multiple rooms and levels. I loved the wall to wall decor in the establishment. You can see the level of work and details they put into it. The cocktails are amazing! The mixologist put so much effort and care into every drink that they make. The food was good as well. We enjoyed the Tamales and Hummus. The service was fantastic. A great experience overall!

This staff is excellent and clearly has been trained to create a memorable experience for their guests by providing exceptional customer service. They seem to pride themselves on attention to the details as well as producing a delicious cocktail selection.
The vibe in the bar is spot on to bring holiday cheer! Highly recommend adding this place to your annual Christmas season tradition!
Special thanks to Justin and his staff for a wonderful evening! While the drinks are fantastic, the staff is the main reason I come back again and again! Cheers to you!

Miracle on 5th Bar is such a fun holiday spot in Austin! The festive decor is over-the-top in the best way, the cocktails are creative and delicious, and the staff keeps the energy upbeat even when it’s busy. Perfect place to get into the holiday spirit with friends. Definitely worth the visit.

The decor is great, definitely cute photos to be taken. But it felt like nobody there was having a good time. My friend tried to order a white claw, and was met with “we don’t have those, this is a classy place”. The same place has a poster every 5 steps about not stealing the glassware. I understand the frustration, but to have 5 posters in the restroom seems a little excessive.

Hopefully the volume is a little louder next time; it was hard not to hear the conversations on the other side of the room, which seemed to make everyone talk even quieter.
