So we’re out-of-towners visiting friends (the owner calls him “the Yankee” because we’re from the north) well they suggested we go here for dinner I checked out the reviews and was a little bit leery about going since there were mixed reviews. For my experience the service was great the food came out quickly and it was very good. We did go to the other location 2 minutes for breakfast the day before and I have to say I was not impressed with the breakfast. But it seemed like everybody else liked it. We had the fish dinner, fisherman’s platter, fried chicken dinner, chicken tender dinner, and I had the Philly Cheesesteak hoagie. Salad bar was much better than the soups, the soup seemed to be from a package or a can and then doctored up.

Absolutely loved our visit. The service was friendly and attentive, and the owner even came over to personally greet us which made it feel extra welcoming. It is clear they care about their customers and put a lot of heart into the place. Always nice to support a local business like this. We will definitely be back soon and recommend it to others.

Such a wonderful place for a family meal! The owners and staff are all the best of the best. They are warm and welcoming and treat you like your family. The food was great! We ordered the salmon and pork chop special and it was HUGE! We had a ton of leftovers and the taste was amazing! They also give you ice cream included with your meal, which our toddler loved. If you want a casual meal with a great environment, come here!

Our first breakfast in the new location which is very bright and inviting.
Price is good and food delicious.
One of our coffee mugs was dirty (left over lip stick) but was corrected quickly.
Everything is handicap accessible including washroom.

I’ve been 2x and really like a few things about this place. Each time I’ve been here I’ve only eaten breakfast. I really enjoy the simple breakfast items and the amount you get for your dollar. Don’t expect anything fancy. Just simple but well cooked food with great service.

Cozy spot with a fun John Wayne theme, and the owner’s super friendly—he was chatting with customers and even encouraging kids to finish their meals with little rewards. The service felt like being taken care of by a cheerful aunt. But the food? Not great. The eggs and potatoes had zero seasoning, and the sausage tasted like it was cooked in old grease. Overall, I can’t recommend it.

Had a wonderful lunch!
Philly cheese steak and a veal lunch special. Food was good, staff was friendly, and the restaurant is brand new.
The owner has an inspiring story on the cover of the menu.

Lets start with how great their chicken tenders are. Seems like the lunch and dinner might be better than the breakfast. I had the worst breakfast ever here. The bacon is so cheap and little it tastes like boxed pre cooked bacon. The sausage links are absolutely the worst quality more like pre cooked sausage as well. The biscuits and gravy was a disgrace. That gravy wow was the worst Ive ever eaten in life. There are many changes that could be made for a better breakfast especially for how expensive this diner is. I work at a diner in Tampa, probably the best in the Tampa area, so i know quality and prices. This place really needs to upgrade the quality in breakfast food. It has so much potential. I think the remade eggs were the best part of my breakfast experience here. The server was the best, she was kind and caring. She was disappointed about my experience. Unfortunately she doesn’t order or make the food. I hope this place makes the changes it needs to bring in more business.

I decided to try their new location. Thought I could get breakfast but I was a bit late. settled for a burger. When I arrived, I waited over 10 minutes to get water and a menu. Were all the wait staff was hiding in the kitchen? There was a table of 4 seated near me. They had also been waiting for a while to have someone to take their order. The food prices were reasonable on the menu but the quality was not great. The burger was low grade meat. Bun was the cheapest commercial grade. The fries were limp and the least expensive commercial quality. Perhaps they have a good breakfast menu? No idea. Won’t return to find out. Lots of resturants in the area. Some chains, some independent. NO reason to return here. I went at noon and there were only a few tables occupied. Most resturants are busy at this time of the day. This is a ONE and DONE type of experience. No reason to return.
