My experience has never been good at this store. I’m a brown skinned African American and I know a few people who USE to shop here, but we all have stopped spending our hard earned money where it’s not appreciated. I’m a Registered nurse I’m self employed, I make great money. When I walked in this store they looked at me like I was going to steal(that’s how I felt) they watched me, I felt so uncomfortable! And once I got everything that I needed the ice cold employee’s at the register really made me say… I’M DONE I’M NOT COMING HERE EVER AGAIN! They don’t smile or say hello,very cold people! I’m taking my money somewhere where I’m appreciated and not looked at as if I’m going to steal something! The store has gone way down. I use to go there and buy there chocolates A LOT they were great! I believe that the employees ran a lot of there customers away. How hard is it to smile and and say hello and to not treat everyone like a thief? Get it together and I may come back…I miss your chocolate candy ♥️!

For a first visit I was impressed with the array of goods at the Market and Deli. The different types of chocolates and pastries were also at a competitive price. I was even more happy to find Jamaica-me-Crazy coffee for sale. I was a little disappointed in having to figure out who would service me for a breakfast sandwich at the deli and then had to opt for a premade one at the counter near the cashier by exit door in a warmer(as I was out of time.) One of the bagel sandwiches – the fried bologna with an egg, cheese and topped with perfectly cooked onions was very good and a must try. However, the second bagelwhich called a Double Meat was burnt on the bottom, burnt sausage, and only half an egg. I also felt slightly disappointed in myself that I succombed to buying a hot sandwich in those hard see thru plastic containers but I really wanted to rate this deli. I will return when I can order at the deli counter and give this market a fair second chance.

My Bestie and I were hosting a 60th Birthday Clambake. We wanted subs and salads for later on after the party continued and Dell’s came through! Margie sat down with me, helped me pick out what I thought would be good, try some of the salads, and select appetizer trays! It saved us so much time and we could enjoy the clambake!
The subs and salads, Veggie, Fruit and Cheese and crackers tray were great! They were gobbled up too!

Aside from the beautiful selection of deliciousness available in the store, Bill and his team have provided catering services for me on multiple occasions. Most recently, they catered a client event at the Rochester Fringe Festival, Spiegeltent. It was a unique venue, and they made beautiful use of the space. My clients were impressed with the food display and the quality of the food. I hired him because he provides #1 excellent food #2 beautiful attention to detail with the food display #3 OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Thank you to the Dells team!

Their food is always delicious. But bought a few donuts and both of them were stale. Purchased them at ten a m. Should not have been. And can the girl with the dark hair and the long braid to the side ever be pleasant? We go in there several times a week and she always seems to be in a bad mood, and my husband always tries to be friendly toward her.

Their was this kid maybe 17 or 18 that I almost hit with my car, he was riding his bike and I just wanted to let him know I’m sorry! He definitely taught me to never text and drive. I went to the the store a few days later and he was working. I dont think he recognized me but he made me a sandwich and it was really good. Thanks dude!

This is such a perfect little market for a one stop shop. I love that they sell local products! We got subs for dinner and they are one of the only reasonably priced places left around! A huge large turkey sub was only 14.99 and came with a free 20 oz soda. I have also had the steak sub and it is amazing! We will definitely be making this our location for subs. It is nice to go somewhere that hasn’t become greedy with all of their prices. Also the cashier was very sweet, I didn’t catch her name but we were in there Friday night around 630. Thanks for just being nice, sometimes that is all it takes to brighten someone’s day.
