The Dunmore is neighbourhood bar & restaurant, serving delicious fresh seafood & great steaks, amazing cocktails & a super wine list. Walk-ins are very welcome for lunch & dinner as are single diners. We have a number of areas that can be reserved for private parties or group bookings. The Dunmore is also available for private hire.

Lovely. Went to another nearby restaurant based on their reviews but a smell of bad drains greeted us so we left and walked along the street and tried The Dunmore. We were happily surprised by a delicious meal, pleasant atmosphere and sweet serving staff (Thanks Lizzy! )

We had a lovely evening meal at The Dunmore to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
This was not our first visit here and we both ordered our favourite side, the savoy cabbage.
My husband went for the fish of the day, which was the John Dory and he loved it. But it was just surpassed by this scallops starter he ordered.
I went for my usual fish pie, which was cheesy and creamy goodness.
To finish they brought a surprise scoop of ice cream with a candle on top, which was super nice of them. We were too full to order proper desserts.
Highly recommend The Dunmore. Lovely place, lovely staff and lovely food.

Great place for food,We Had two sunday dinners, and crab claws and everything was excellent. And a very nice pint of stout. Also very good waiting staff,Definitely be back.

The staff here are brilliant. Some great young members of staff here who are extremely nice. The food is good. I was expecting just that little bit more for the price and I do understand restaurants have a hard time in the city at the moment. The presentation is beautiful and we were given a beautiful table.

A real gem in the heart of Rathmines. Went in for a pint after seeing a film and ended up having food. The atmosphere was great, the seats by the fire are very comfortable. Nice selection of wine and beer. The burger is very good, as are the chips. The seafood pie is excellent. The staff are excellent and service is spot on. I’ll go back and try some of the menu, which looks great!

The restaurant have a nice atmosphere. Though busy night the atmosphere was relaxing with their high ceiling and nice lighting. Were given a nice space to sit in . It was a busy evening coz it was valentines weekend but the service is superb coz we were not left waiting. the serving was spontaneous from the starter to the mains. Its kid friendly they have kids menu. Food wise the food was excellent the prawn pilpil was gorgeous the bread was so soft at the center my husband enjoyed his steak and the mash potatoes for my son was so creamy . The burger was gorgeous i went for well done but it was still juicy the bun used was really good melts it the mouth.

Dunmore is a place I truly love — elegant, comfortable, and with excellent food. The red meat dishes are outstanding, especially the steak, and the fresh filleted fish is just as impressive. Desserts are delicious, and I still remember on Valentine’s Day they even surprised us with macarons, just like in the photo.
The service is incredible: attentive and professional, which makes the whole experience even better. In the evenings, the atmosphere becomes really special, with dim lights, great cocktails, and a cozy, elegant vibe.
Highly recommended for a romantic dinner, a celebration, or simply enjoying excellent food and drinks in Rathmines.

We had a good “bistro” experience at The Dunmore where four of us had dinner.
Its a pleasant room with a mix of booths, banquets and couples tables with informal cocktail area at the front and a dining room towards the rear.
The food we had was very good although I would prefer more variety on the menu. We had a mix of seafood, fish and meat for main courses and all were very good.
Staff were very efficient and friendly with a “Boss Lady” managing the young staff very effectively in taking and delivering orders. My only complaint was I asked for my friend to be moved to another table with his EV lecture getting boring but he was not relocated!
Dinner for four was about 250 including tips which was good value in Dublin.

Went with friends for Sunday lunch. Beautiful room, artwork and atmosphere (that fire!)and the food was lovely. We had the warmest welcome from the manager (Moira?) who made us feel right at home. Would have given 5 stars tbh but other staff weren’t quite as attentive (our waitress disappeared after taking our drinks order!) but Moira (I hope I’m remembering her name correctly!) stepped in and looked after us.
