Always a 10/10! Have been coming for years and nothing has changed – amazing food and amazing service. Favorite miso soup in the world! Avocado torch, Hawaiian, and spicy tuna rolls are a must.

The sushi was fresh! We ordered the Koya Sushi, Hawaiian Rolls, Shrimp fried rice. We also received miso soup and egg rolls without charge.

Yummy veggie spring roll; sushi: we had the green dragon, volcano, mushroom asparagus, sweet potato rolls. Service was great and the complimentary mochi and cookies was a nice surprise.

A lot of reviews say Koya has reasonable prices but this shrimp tempura roll cost me over $9 and was mostly rice…very disappointed. You can decide if that’s worth it for you but I definitely feel you can get more for your money elsewhere.

Excellent fresh sushi… a much higher level of quality than the other places in the area. We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve ordered and come regularly. Staff is extremely friendly. This is a real neighborhood, local place.

LOVE THE PLACE. True hidden gem in Highwood. The service was so good, so were the waiters, nicest waiters I’ve ever gotten. The miso soup is great as well, they give it to you right away even if you haven’t asked for it. So cozy too, the booths are endless

I cannot say enough good things about Koya. I was so happy to find this restaurant. Everything we ordered, tempura, tempura udon soup, kids bento boxes, and sushi was incredibly good. Can’t wait to go back!
