In the area and hungry, with limited options we settled on Chili’s. Recently have eaten at the one in North Riverside and it is was pretty good.
This one was so-so at best.
Quoted 45 minutes for the wait, just did not look that busy. Must have been six tables open. We decided to stay. Maybe we could eat at the bar.
Sixteen minutes later the text came through, “your table is ready”. One of the tables that had been empty the entire time we were standing there. Odd.
Server was okay, disappeared a bit during the meal. Getting a refill has a challenge. Appetizer arrived after the entrees.
Comparing this restaurant to North Riverside location, food was sloppy in preparation (see the picture of the clumps of chips).

Chilis – Chicago Ridge – needs to do better. The food was horrible. I ordered the triple dipper and the only food that was fresh were the egg rolls. The big mouth bites & bone in wings were old, hard, and appeared re-cooked.

I’m aware this is a long post and people may not read it, but I’m hoping this catches the right audience. Went to Chili’s last night (12/20) for a girls night with my sisters and everything was great up until we found a dead bug in our food.
We called the waitress over who was very sweet by the way, and she apologized. She also let us know that she will tell the manager what happened.
Unfortunately, we lost our appetite but what was even more shocking was that the manager never came to our table to check on us or even apologize. We had to ask our waitress to bring him over.
We always go to restaurants and we’re never to ones to complain, and in the rare occasions something was wrong with our food, the manager would address our table an apologize, this would be the FIRST case that it was the other way around.
We didn’t catch his name, but when he came to our table he just said, “I heard what happened and am aware of it”. I think the worst part of all of this was that he didn’t apologize and didn’t offer to make our experience better until we asked him if there was anything he could do for us. He said that he’s give us a partial discount.
When the bill came he said he comped one of the items and left our table. When I checked the bill, he took off our appetizer, which was the cheapest thing item we bought and wasn’t even the one that had the bug in it!
We’re not looking to get anything for free or cause trouble and we were grateful that he did something for us but the whole situation didn’t sit right with us. We’re never the ones to write reviews, but this needed to be discussed, and most importantly, PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD!

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Chili’s in Oak Lawn needs to seriously reevaluate who they allow to interact with customers.
The customer service was trash from the start, but the worst part was the male employee wearing a red cap with tattoos all over his face and neck. His attitude was nasty, rude, and completely unprofessional. When we calmly confronted him about his behavior, he became even more disrespectful and threatened to spit in our food. That alone should be enough to get someone fired.
No customer should ever feel unsafe or disrespected over food they’re paying for. The fact that an employee would even joke or threaten something like that shows a complete lack of standards and management oversight.
This place sucks. The service sucks. And that employee should never be working with the public. I will not be returning, and I’ll be making sure others know to avoid this location unless they want horrible service and disgusting behavior.

Came in for lunch today around 2pm & server herself was very nice but she first forgot the drinks we ordered and had to come back and ask again. Then we ordered an appetizer and waited over 20 minutes for a chip & dip trio – she checked back and asked if my boyfriend wanted another drink and he said no, we’re just waiting on our appetizer and then she walked away. She then came back to ask us what appetizer it was that we ordered and by then we were already waiting over 15 minutes for it. Finally, the appetizer came out just for our entrees to follow behind it and we didn’t even have the appetizer for a whole minute before the main course dropped! By then, I couldn’t even enjoy it and we felt like the appetizer was wasted money. She then brought a refill of a soft drink that wasn’t asked that nobody touched because our drinks were full and we didn’t need it so we really didn’t have any room on the table for anything seeing as we had a full untouched appetizer, main courses, our drinks, then the refill that just sat there. She did apologize that the food came out at the same time as the appetizer and it was acknowledged. There were only maybe 4 other tables in the dining room as well, so I would be a little more understanding of mistakes had it been busy but it wasn’t at all. I feel like she was afraid to let her manager know of the mistakes as well as no one came by to do a table touch. I usually have a great time when I come in, but this experience was a major disappointment all around.

I went yesterday night with my daughter and we had Alissa as our waitress. Alissa you have an amazing customer service. Accurate, polite, and very attentive at all time with us but I was able to notice that your customer service was all around with all the other tables you were hosting. I made sure to mention this to management but I also wanted to let the Chicago Area know we still have good customer service out in this world. Thank you for being such a sweet soul.

I came in with a group of 10. We waited about 5 mins for the employees to get a table ready for us. The waitress was great helpful and answered any questions we had. The food was good we didn’t wait long for anything . We were there around 2:30 on a Saturday

Our server was great—no issues with her at all. However, the food was disappointing. It looked good but was overcooked. I ordered the trio, and everything was too crunchy for my liking. We also got wings, but they were cooked way too hard. On top of that, we had to wait a long time for our food. Even our server apologized for the delay, though it wasn’t her fault. This review is more about the kitchen than the service. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for a birthday lunch.

I wish i read all the warnings before attending. First red flag i called when i was ten min away the hostess said there was a 40 minute wait.. i walk in restaurant practically deserted was sat immediately.. me and my friend both ordered the trio salsa with guacamole…. it was brought out to us brown! which means it ls old has been sitting out definitely a food hazard. i told the server she was very unsympathetic with no emotion said do you want another one.. no way! i really didn’t trust any of the food. when my steak came is was dry i waited over ten minutes for my server and the manager on duty who never came over when i had a issue finish their private hilarious conversation to acknowledge me so i could get steak sauce. when i asked for the bill she just said it’s on the kiosk. drinks watered down no customer service first and last time here save your money and your health this place needs serious help!

We always order from here. Always terrific food and service. But! Ordered burgers last night and they were the worst ! Dry .Overcooked burgers! Salad was warm wilted lettuce. Fries were double cooked hard and cold ! Never will I order from here again ! Disgusting ! I am really angry!
