This place was the warmest welcome to Shasta. I could taste the magic and love in this food instantly, and the views of the mountain from the window are spectacular. The whole experience of dining here felt like a warm hug. Highly recommend!

My two friends and I were traveling from Seattle and was starving !! We are so grateful that we stumbled upon this gem. Immediately we were greeted with a warm presence.
We were seated and ordered from the small but intentional menue.

Both my friends are from India and I feel my soul had lifetimes there hehe.
They were raving how this is exactly what Indian home cooking looks and tastes like!

I of course devoured everything before my senses could catch up with me. It was very yummy and I was very hungry !!

We had to send a big compliment to the chef and of course take a picture of him.

He was also name Venky and he attributed the amazing food to his mother who is also the chef in the kitchen.

Its no wonder the food was so Divine.

There was a lot of synchronicities that led us here and while we were there.

Overall, so grateful for this whole team and homey restaurant.

I love supporting family establishments.

If youre in the area, please give this place a try.
It has an Indian stamp of approval !
A joke my Desi friends said.

Wishing this family and their staff all the best !!!

Imagine everyone wanting a warm Indian dinner on the night that was so cold outside coming in there’re already 5 different groups of people are waiting ahead of us we are so nervous that it can take up to an hour for the wait alone but I was wrong the lady called us in within 5 minutes took our order and our food was served within 10 minutes what a magic. Love the atmosphere and the taste. Our staff are so kind, on spot and very attentive. I highly recommend this place.

We had such a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant in Mount Shasta! The setting alone is breathtaking – dining with sweeping views of the mountain makes the whole experience feel extra special. On top of that, the food is some of the freshest Indian cuisine I’ve had in a long time.

The highlight for me was the Thali – an absolute must-try. Every dish on the plate was wholesome, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. You could really taste the freshness in every bite, and the variety made it both comforting and exciting.

The combination of stunning views and authentic, flavorful cooking makes this place a true gem in Mount Shasta. If you’re in the area, I can’t recommend it enough!

Tasty, hot, not spicy north indian food is served here with smiling faces. Real value for money in this part of North america.
A visit to Shastha hills becomes complete visiting this place located facing Shastha tri peaks and very close to freeway. On a clear day you get panoramic view of the peaks.
Also there is a collection of momentos by visitors across the globe and a small collections of books for thoughts.

Cute restaurant, perfect after a hike. They have a good selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian option. They also have an option to curate a thali with these options.
There is limited parking and outdoor seating available. Ample of indoor seating available.

Nice Indian restaurant right in the heart of mount shashta town. Vegetarian options were available. Food was not something you get at any other Indian restaurant. It’s very well cooked and felt like home made touch with adequate amount of Indian spices. Owner and server both were friendly and polite. Rose lassi was delicious too.

Discovered this Indian place during our visit to Lassen volcanic national park. It’s near mount shasta but was the only indian restaurant that was open and had good ratings. We had to travel a bit to reach there. Starting with the location, it’s really beautiful and you can see mount shasta when there’s daylight. Then seating, we recommend reaching early as there’s always a wait(20-30) mins depending on crowd. The service is pretty quick after you’re seated. We ordered their famous rose lassi and it was amazing! Light, perfect sweet with the flavour of rose. We ordered samosas which were again crisp and the potato filling was spot on, neither too loaded with spices nor too bland. We ordered thalis which is pretty common there and have multiple varieties. Each thali comes with a mini naan which we subbed for regular naan, daal of the day and chhole along with a veg/non veg item of your choice. We had saag, mushroom and paneer. Saag and paneer were amazing but the mushroom was a bit excessive salty. The quantity was sufficient for 1 person and everything was fresh and tasteful! Must visit when you’re going to Mount Shasta
