What a treasure!! I had no idea how good the food was here. Friendly people and delicious lunch line for meats, sides, and desserts. But the hotdogs with their own homemade chili (made daily!) are a real treat. Can’t wait to go back for a fatback and egg biscuit! You know if the local sheriff’s office eats there, it is great food.

Charlie’s isn’t an upscale restaurant. But for what he’s cooking and serving . I’d eat there daily if it was closer to me and I had eating out everyday money. It’s clean they serve you with a smile. Stopped in this AM for a tenderloin egg and cheese biscuit quite pleased .

This is not McDonald’s or KFC…. It’s not Food Lion….. But its a little of both. Mom and Pop type of business with some grocery and a grill with a full menu. The food is awesome! I’ve been going there for years. They have some of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten! And the chicken …. I’m getting hungry just talking about it.

Well worth every penny. I got a chicken breast plate and a wing plate, plus dessert. The food was great (Lemonade is sooo good too!) but the customer service was even better. I will definitely be back!!!

Love the fried chicken, it’s the best hands down! The burgers are really good too. You have to pay for condiment’s for you sandwich. The fried fish is flavorful!

I remember when burgers here were delicious. I know the owners changed years ago. That should have been the only thing that changed. Simple things like a cheeseburger is not the same now. I came home one day excited to go to Red and White for a cheeseburger. I WAS AND STILL IS so disappointed with the food there. I am looking for somewhere else in Oxford to get that home cooking that is not a franchise establishment.
