In Janesville for only a few hours this morning and found the Citrus Cafe. So freaking good! I sat down and ordered and had food in front of me in less the 10 minutes. Will be coming back next time I’m in town.

10/10 breakast experience! Well worth the 20 minute wait for a table. The swedish pancakes are delicious and melt in your mouth, and the special butter they come with adds some savory richness. The poppyseed French toast is also a must try! Everything was cooked perfectly. Huge portions and fair prices! Wish I lived in the area because I’d go every week.

Was just ok.. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t enjoy it either. Pretty standard breakfast fare. Biscuits were pretty dry. Hash browns lightly cooked. Nothing stood out. Was kinda surprised with the high reviews. Maybe it’s about the pancakes and things I didn’t try

Lived in Janesville my whole life and just stopped in to Citrus Cafe for the first time a few months ago. Been back a couple times since then. It can be a bit pricey if you get the fresh orange juice, but it is certainly worth the hype. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are huge. Would definitely recommend.

I found this place when my mother lived in Janesville a few years ago and she took me there for the first time. It’s a great place with great service and great food. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice.

Really nice restaurant! The place is spotless even during a breakfast rush. Salmon and eggs is available, even on a Wednesday. As clean and well organized as the place is, it also seems like they treat their employees well. If it’s busy the counter service is a great way to get breakfast as well.

Pretty busy, great food and fresh orange juice. We had to wait a bit for a table for 6. Ordered food for the boys right away and got it shortly after ordering our food. Fast the food was delicious, pancakes, crepes. Also a Denver and an Irish skillet with a biscuit/ gravy. They were good too although I think they could have been a little hotter in temperature ? The fresh orange juice was delicious.

Come here hungry. They will feed you great sized portions! Service is awesome with seasoned pro Servers; my water and coffee was never empty. My server, who waited on me, was great. I “ear hustled” she has worked there for 11 years, compliments to the management on retaining awesome crew.

You can never go wrong with a good hole-in-the-wall, and Citrus Cafe is no exception! The service was fast, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy breakfast and the OLE omelette—both were amazing. Even though it was busy, they moved quickly and kept everything running smoothly. It’s the perfect spot for a tasty, no-frills meal!
