We arrived at Brick & Spoon for breakfast at 9:45 and we’re seated immediately. The menu is big with a good variety. They serve cirn or cheese grits with almost all of their breakfast choices. My husband ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict and breakfast potatoes. He had hoped for it to be on a homemade biscuit but it was on an English muffin. He said it was really good. I ordered the Western Scrambler with fruit. I got the berry fruit rather than the melon fruit. Delish! I couldn’t eat all of it though. I ordered a Bloody Mary. I chose to go with the Bartender’s Choice. It came with a garnish of: pickled green beans, pickled okra, olive, celery, asparagus, lemon, bacon, and cheddar cheese. It was FABULOUS!! We highly recommend Brick & Spoon. Ask for Lex. She’s amazing.

The food was fantastic. The restaurant was great but what really impressed us was the server. We were on our way out of alabama and got here at opening hour. About 4 other groups walked in and she absolutely killed it. Nikki needs a raise. We got outstanding service and the food and drinks were a bonus! Make this stop if you’re ever in town!

The Brick & Spoon was delicious. My husband and I went in for a late breakfast and really enjoyed our selections. I had the Fried Steak Breakfast which came on top of a delicious biscuit with gravy. Over easy eggs and a delicious spicy honey drizzle. My husband got the Cajun Shrimp Benny which came with a side of potatoes. He really enjoyed the entree the potatoes were just potatoes. The star of the show was the breakfast fries. That came covered in gravy, diced tomatoes, a Sunnyside egg on top and drizzled with Holindaze sauce. Definitely recommend this place. It was our first time eating here as we are from Kentucky.

We enjoyed a late breakfast/early brunch arriving at 9 am. There was plenty of parking available. We had no trouble getting seated although there were many others dining on Sunday morning. Our party of three was seated quickly. We tried the western scrambler and Caribbean scrambler with the fire roasted grits. Both dishes were tasty but the fire roasted cheese grits stole the show! They were creamy, cheesy with a hint of smoky. The thing we liked best was the addition of corn to the grits which was a yummy surprise! The coffee was delicious as well. The brunch menu looked tempting. We were all happy with our food and the price. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We would definitely go back!

This was delicious! The service was awesome. Pictured is our coffee and apple juice alongside a taco dish and one with delicious sausage gravy and fried eggs. Thank you for an awesome meal on our vacation!! ☕️

Brick & Spoon in Orange Beach absolutely lived up to the hype, family that lives in the area recommended that we checked it out and we know why.
The deviled eggs were next level; creamy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely a must order starter. I had the Bama Chick sandwich and it was incredible, crispy chicken, just the right amount of kick, and packed with flavor. The eggs Benedict options were equally impressive, perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, and generous portions.
And of course, the mimosa flights were a fun (and tasty) bonus. Great variety of flavors, all super refreshing and well balanced, perfect for sharing or just sampling a little of everything.
Service was friendly and fast, and the whole experience was a standout. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Brick & Spoon is a must for brunch in Orange Beach. We’ll definitely be back!

The ratings on this place got us excited thinking we were about to have a great breakfast. Unfortunately the reviews were much higher than deserved based on our meal. Our food was bland and boring. I got the blackened shrimp eggs benedict and my wife got an omelette. There was a total of five small shrimp and they were not blackened and had very little spice. The omelette was good but basic. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to have conversation this is not the spot. The main dining area was extremely noisy. It sounded like a high school cafeteria the day before Spring Break. Our search for a great breakfast spot in Orange Beach continues. I will say the one redeeming quality was our server. She was attentive and very sweet.

What a great menu. Absolutely love the food and will be traveling back here from Pensacola for another delicious meal. A+ for not leaving the tails on the shrimp in my shrimp and grits.

Nice brunch spot. Served everything from mini beignet’s to loaded burgers. I had the Cali burger (I think that’s what it’s called) with double patties, cheese, bacon and avocado. Very good! The fries were good, too.
