Skip this place and go elsewhere…
My family and I decided to try Baja’s today. We walked into the newly opened Seekonk location and found a newly remodeled and clean location, looks great.
That was the end of the positives… To start with, the music blasting was with every other word being a four letter swear words… It was a very inappropriate music channel to stream loudly in an actual business open to the public. My 11 and 12-year-olds kept giving us looks about the music. Next, the employees were oblivious to this inappropriate music and were very unenthusiastic and unfriendly. That already got the visit off on the wrong foot.
The icing on the cake was that the food quality was mediocre at best. We’ve had tastier food from the freezer isle. My kids ordered chicken fingers/fries and some mozzarella sticks and even they said it wasn’t good. The mozzarella sticks weren’t cooked all the way through (cold and hard in the middle).
I ordered a Chimi, which was rolled together like a burrito and fried. The only problem is the frying didn’t crispen up the tortilla at all, so it ate like a microwave burrito (soggy). It was mostly rice and beans with very little chicken too. A traditional restaurant chimichanga is all meat with some cheese and very crispy. My wife’s tacos, per her review, were “meh”… Then the kicker was the cost… We spent close to $80 for fast food of so-so quality when we could have had authentic Mexican food at a real restaurant for about the same money, and with friendly table service…
We already miss the previous restaurant at this location, and likely won’t try Baja’s again… Do yourself a favor, skip this place and go pretty much anywhere else, you’ll be happier.
Oh and as far as helping the environment, paper straws are used, but with all-plastic cups and lids… Why not just give us plastic straws?

Today was my first time eating bajas…recommendation made by my 2 Puerto Rican co workers, food was phenomenal! Fresh ,hot, tasty,…portions are big I was stuffed but didn’t feel sick fresh food… restaurant was spotless, and I believe the bearded man working the register (manager?) he was great good conversation great attitude. Ordered online, that worked great. If I had to complain it would be..online let me chose a cash option to pay at the restaurant..I like to tip great service in cash, versus online, and another complaint would be better utensils…the plastic knives are horrible…otherwise the restaurant is awesome..will be going back with family

Baja’a is great. The pork is better than steak because the steak is dry but the flavors and service is 5 stars! I will definitely be back; what a great alternative to Chipotle!

At this restaurant, upon entering, the cashier and the server exchanged glances and laughed. It seemed like I made them laugh. It was very rude. Then, my son dropped his food right there, and they didn’t even offer me another plate; they acted like nothing had happened. Where were they supposed to offer me another plate if my son dropped it! They have no professionalism in customer service. The manager should tell him about that! Thank you! Terrible service!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered pickup, spent $60, half the order wasn’t in the bag. I called back to figure out what happened. They only spoke Spanish, when I said I don’t speak Spanish they hung up on me. DO NOT come here!

I frequently purchase my daughter burrito bowls from other establishments. My husband and I had dinner next door at Midici (also great) and decided to stop in at Baja’s at 950pm to bring her home a burrito bowl. I couldn’t believe how spotlessly clean the restaurant was! Most other restaurants start pulling food as it gets close to closing time. Everything was full and looked FRESH. Most other places have a bit of a mess as it gets close to closing time, all I could smell was cleaner. The floors were freshly mopped and I could see my face in the counter it was so clean. REALLY impressed!

We LOVE this Baja location! We are half way between the Highland Ave Baja and another and we always chose this one when we can! Jesus and his crew make the place feel so friendly and cheerful. It’s always super clean and the food looks fresh always. The people working here really make this place feel special. My husband goes here so often now they know his face! Such a nice feeling to walk in to a restaurant and be greeted with a smile and fist bump…Really can’t say enough good things about this location. A+++ great job guys!
