Wow! What a great little find! This place is super cool. To find it, you need to walk through the buildings that have a covered area with tables & chairs. We asked if we could sit outside with our toy poodle, and we were welcomed inside with her. So we ordered, since it was raining anyway. You must go to the counter to order your food and get your drinks at the self serva area. The server will bring your food to your table. Our server was Trea. He was very friendly and very responsive. The space is a variety of chairs, sofas table games. There’s also a variety of high-top tables mix in, too!
We ordered pizza, which is something that we haven’t had in a long while, boy, we are we glad we did. The pizza was very tasty, and the crust was like a puff pastry! It was so delicious, I had to order a second slice ( actually a square), but it was so very good. If you are in the area, do yourself a huge favor, stop in, and get the pizza. They also have a huge craft beer selection and will help make a great selection to your meal.

Love the drink deals here! It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick craft beer while I’m walking through the square. Plus, they’ve got board games and shuffleboard, so it’s always a good time with friends or family. 10/10 would recommend! Also, the patio is super chill if you’re looking to hang out outside (it’s kind of underrated). Miss the Philly steak and seasonal jerky though!

This place sucks and they are always out of everything on tap, also they are ALLERGIC TO HAVING LIMES IN THE BAR, I ordered a vodka soda like and it was a sprite with premade lime syrup. It is ran by 20 year olds. And the straws are 2 feet long.

We had an enjoyable Sunday afternoon at The Growler. The atmosphere was cool and the vibe was chill. It was a nice place to spend the afternoon. The Growler has a great selection of beer that should suit most tastes. They have food as well, but we didn’t order anything to eat.
The staff was friendly and very good at recommending a beer selection. If you are in Oxford and want a craft beer, this is the place to visit! I look forward to returning on my next visit to Oxford.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Oxford! It has great food with a good atmosphere and friendly staff, and I love that they’re pet friendly! You can come inside with your pups or sit outside on the patio. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Under new management, The Growler has gone downhill fast. The beer selection is still good, but food and cocktails are both significantly worse in quality and value. For example, here is a picture of a $5 plate of fries. There are a total of 16 fries on the tray, which works out to 31¢ per fry. If you’re going to switch to middling quality frozen food, at least be generous with the quantity.

Have I really never reviewed the Growler. Well … first …. Just go. Have beer. Eat pretzels and beer cheese and anything else on the menu. The food is so good. They have expanded and taken over the candy store… added a full bar. Play games. Enjoy each other. The Growler is cool and chill.

We had one evening to spend in the beautiful town of Oxford and we are so glad we spent it here! Our bartender Colin helped us figure out the perfect flight and a couple of pints. Our cook Callie gave us one of the best sandwiches we ever ate! This is such a cool, fun and chill place to spend an evening. We recommend it to all.

Wonderful bar. The owner was awesome to talk to and really made you feel welcome. Let us in hours before it opened so we can chill. The place is relaxing and has a wonderful vibe to it. Definitely reccomend stopping here if you are in town!
