Our restaurant has been family owned and operated since 1985. It has a capacity of 250 seats and a good-sized cocktail lounge. We provide customers a comfortable atmosphere with nice oriental decorations. We hope you can enjoy the experience of fine Chinese cuisine, in an elegant and sophisticated setting at our restaurant. We have lunch menu at lunch time; an early bird special menu available between 4-6 p.m or you can order off the regular menu at any time. Whenever you don’t feel like dining in, we provide a fast take out service but don’t do delivery. We want you to know that when you have a craving for some good Chinese food, we are here to serve.

Feels like your standard long time neighborhood Chinese Restaurant. Plenty of selections to pick from.
The Hot and Sour Soup had a flavor that I did not care for compared to some others I had elsewhere. I’d certainly skip this next time.
The General Tso Chicken was on par with the Hot and Sour Soup. The chicken itself was cooked nicely. Slight crisp outside with moist inside. The sause though had a flavor I did not care for compared to other places I been. So this as well I would skip next time.
Finally the Curry Chicken. This dish was good. Flavorful sauce with a nice slice and curry flavor. This is a dish I would order again and enjoy.

Great staff and atmosphere. This is the closest fried rice I’ve had to the north east in Florida. The drink prices are great. The lobster sauce is not good but plenty restaurants have issues with it. They have their own take on chicken wings. I love the vibe.

I grew up eating Chinese food at an “old school” Chinese place just like this, the decor never changed and 3 generations of our family loved their food…moving to FL, I couldn’t find decent Chinese food, but Zum Hee was recommended. The first night we visited it was awesome, we have family visiting snd the whole experience was nostalgic….and everything we got Mongolian beef, Chicken Chow Mein and General tsos was good. Egg rolls were decent, service was great. My husband and I decided to go again. He got General Tso and it was good, but I got sweet and sour chicken. I was really disappointed, how do you mess up a classic. I had big pieces of breading laying all over and then slices of chicken breast. I asked for something else, the owner/manager was very kind and tried to explain but really didn’t make a lot of sense to me. He did bring me pepper steak that was thankfully good, a bit salty, must be eaten with rice for sure, but steak was tender. The server told us when we paid that I need to order the chicken pieces like General tso otherwise it comes “extra crispy” the risk with that is the batter comes apart from the chicken. So, not a dish I would order again. The soup was good, the fried rice was average. When you have had egg rolls twice the size of theirs (Hong Kong Inn, Indianapolis, owners died, now closed) you’re never satisfied with egg rolls from anywhere. I usually don’t bother ordering them anywhere. All in all, we will be back…it’s the best chinese in Pinellas Co so far.

It’s like going back in time when Chinese restaurants gave you free tea with a teapot and always had a fish tank. We got take out and the man that helped us was so kind and friendly. The decor is dated, but let’s keep it that way. It’s nostalgic & special. The food was great, and the veggies were fresh. Prob the best Asian food I had in the area when I visited. Skip the Thai spots and go here.

My family and I researched for the best Chinese food in the area before going on vacation and Zom Hee was most recommended. They did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal, exactly what we were hoping for. The service was fantastic. They were very attentive but not too in your face and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely be returning next year when we come back to the beach.

The restaurant is in business for 50 years and so as the deco. Very traditional American Chinese big restaurant. The menu also is back to that time era. Should visit for the fun/history/experience. Food presentation and taste are also back in the traditional way. Older generation loves this type of restaurant.
