The Los Sarapes family of restaurants was born from the entrepreneurial spirit of Carlos and Olga Marin in 1992 after they bought a pizza shop in Chalfont and ran it with their children and spouses. When they introduced some of their family favorite dishes from their native Mexico, customers were delighted! Our name, LOS SARAPES , is metaphoric- a sarape is a blanket that warms you- we want your experience dining with us to taste delicious and service that is warm and welcoming as well!

Love the food, the flavor is awesome, all dishes tastes so good. The music in the room provide good vibe too. Could work a bit more on the dessert though. Still, definitely worth it, would bring my friends to come again, having a lovely intimate environment.

Shared a delicious lunch, the Guac had us dancing – great zing and made to order. The street corn had an awesome subtle sweetness. Our entrees were full of robust flavors and felt authentic and flavorful.

I’m usually not one to get enchiladas but they were delicious! So creative to add the pumpkin seeds on them. Our server was so sweet, gave us great recommendations, our waters were always full, and they let my friend and I stay way later than they deserved. Incredibly service, even better food, overall a 5/5 experience. Taking other people there soon!

Came here for lunch with my fiance. Prices were reasonable considering how delicious the food was. Service was fantastic, and each of the employees we spoke to were welcoming and competent. Inside is lovely as well. Highly recomended.

What a fantastic find! I needed a quick lunch, and my husband suggested Los Sarapes. I’m so glad he did—this might just be the best Mexican restaurant I’ve tried in the area!
From the warm welcome when we walked in to the friendly well wishes as we left, everything was wonderful. We ordered lunch, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The shrimp bisque was delicious, and the beer-battered grouper fish tacos were perfection. The grouper pieces were just right for the corn tortillas, and every bite was incredible. My only wish? A side of tortilla chips would’ve been a great addition!
I enjoyed my meal so much that I’m already looking forward to coming back for dinner soon. Highly recommend Los Sarapes!

My husband and I come here every Friday. It’s our little tradition. This is hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is cozy, the service is always great, and the food never disappoints.
As a Mexican, I can truly say this is some of the most authentic Mexican food around. The flavors are on point, and everything tastes fresh and homemade.
My favorites are the enchiladas de la casa, fajitas Los Sarapes, and the banderillas ahogadas. If you’re in the mood for fish, try the Emperador. It’s so good.
We also want to thank May, who has always been an amazing server (we miss seeing her!) Maria and Reina are also very kind and attentive.
Highly recommend this place if you want real Mexican food and a welcoming vibe.

The service was awesome! Everyone was so hospitable Cristina waited on my table and Victor made the fabulous margaritas. Shes made sure she took great care of us and explained the menu and different events (brunch and happy hour) .. the guacamole and Flan was top tier!
