Was in town and looking for a Thai restaurant to eat at. This place had a lot of good reviews and looked clean, so we chose to eat here. Service was good but the food wasn’t so great.
The tum yum soup was really disappointing. There was no flavor. It was salty and sour with no flavor. And the photos of their Mongolian beef and barbecue pork belly looks good, but it was not it. Mongolian beef was more of a stirfry and the barbecue pork belly was a hard cut of pork that was really dry. I would go elsewhere to eat. The price of everything was very good but I’d rather pay higher price for better quality and taste.

I found this place by accident. The food is fairly good, large portions, and the prices are very reasonable. Great customer service, small location, cozy and yet feels very homely. I really enjoyed the food for the price point. You get a lot for your money.

Siam Chan is a hidden gem when it comes to flavor!
I keep coming back for their yellow and red curries – rich, aromatic, and full of that cozy, comforting spice. Their tom yum soup is tangy and bold, the pad thai is perfectly balanced, and I absolutely love the ground mint chicken over rice – it’s packed with flavor and always hits the spot.

And don’t skip dessert – their sticky rice with mango is one of the best I’ve had. Sweet, fresh, and totally addictive.

Now, for the real talk: it’s a tiny, squeezed little spot, and dining in can be a bit of a shuffle. The restroom situation is… an adventure (yes, you go through the kitchen) and it’s not the cleanest. But honestly? The food makes it worth it every time. Just consider it part of the quirky charm!

Delighted to find this hole-in-the-wall with delicious Thai food and reasonable prices! (I’ve visited Thailand several times and am always on the lookout for authentic food between trips.) We tried the panang curry and mango sticky rice Will be back to try more!

We share a weekly dinner with friends and rotate food responsibility. This week it was our turn. While looking for a new place, I found Siam Chan. I’m very glad I did. Don’t be fooled by the low prices. The food was terrific!

We ordered Spicy Noodles, Vegetable Pad See Ew, BBQ Combo, Chinese Broccoli with Sauteed Black Mushroom, Papaya Salad, and Brown Rice. Everything was perfect.

Siam Chan is in an unpretentious brick building off Santa Monica Blvd. But the food is worthy of the fanciest kitchen.

We ordered pickup. The food was hot and ready on time. An important aspect: the food was packed more carefully than any other food that I have ordered for pickup. This may seem like a small thing, but it indicates the care Siam Chan takes with its food.

Siam Chan is a hidden gem. We’ll be back!

Food was great, service was similarly amazing. My water was never empty for long and the background music provided a nice atmosphere for dining in. Large portions of delicious food for cheap prices 🙂

We’ve been coming here for 20 years and I think this is the best Thai food in Los Angeles. They use high quality meat and seafood and the taste is very authentic. Their chicken basil and spicy shrimp are a couple of our favorites. The staff here are so sweet. Family owned and operated. Thai food absolutely does not get better than this!!!

Great little spot! I got the lunch special and I was surprised how good the food was and how much came with the $10 meal. Will definitely come again.
