Scrumptious Italian place in a cute part of SF! I’m usually not much of an Italian girl but this place was absolutely delicious. We came here for lunch on Valentines, and it was not that busy and we were immediately sat on waiting. We split a thin onion bread, which had really good onions on it and came with dipping balsamic. The bread was hot and fresh when it came out, we saw the people making it!

We also split a veggie lasagna. This was scrumptious, and is probably better than some meat lasagnas I’ve had. It was a solid portion size and came piping hot! i really enjoyed this meal, and the service was fast and efficient.

The only drawback is that the seating is bench style without seat backs and you end up sharing a table with many people if the place is fuller.

i would 100% come back again!

We walked in after a visit to the SF MoMa. The fall pizza was definitely unique and brought in a different flavor profile compared to usual pizza!
The cauliflower was good but the highlight was the tiny onion focaccia — this was really really scrumptious — should try item!

Loved the vibe,, but not impressed with the food. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and everyone seemed to be having a great time there. Sadly, the food we ordered, along with our mixed drinks, just came out to be meh. It was a busy Halloween evening, so that may have factored into it – but this was our only visit, so judging it for what it was.

At the end of a busy day I like to pop in for a salad and an appetizer order of their amazing meatballs! Small bar with tight seating, but lots of inside and outside (covered tables). Bar staff is very friendly, but it can get busy, however, food came out really fast!

The pizza came out promptly and was well prepared. There wasn’t anything specific about the ingredients that really stood out to me or put the pizza over the top, but it was still good. It’s like the venue wanted me to believe that the eating experience was more elevated than what it actually was. I don’t mean to be too harsh, it just seemed like a decent, well made classic pizza.

The food and atmosphere at Delarosa were genuinely great — clean, modern, and family-friendly. The pizza was delicious and came out quickly, and the restaurant itself has a warm, inviting vibe.

Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruined the experience for us. It started off fine with a friendly host, but when he brought over our water, he didn’t even make eye contact — just slid it across the table mid-stride while walking away. It felt dismissive, but we decided to let it go.

Then our waitress arrived, and she just seemed miserable from the start. It honestly felt like she didn’t want to be there, and it was clear this was just a paycheck for her — at least that’s how it came off based on the service we received. We were polite and patient, but her attitude never changed.

When our pizza came out (which was great), she returned about two minutes later to check on us — right as we were chewing. Since we couldn’t respond, she repeated “You’re good?” but started walking off as she was asking the question, which made us feel rushed and even caused us to start hurrying through our food just to answer her. I appreciate that she didn’t forget about us, but it felt like there was a lack of awareness about when to check in. It came across more like she was just checking off a box rather than genuinely engaging with her tables. Maybe it was just a bad night for her or we caught her at a bad time, but the whole interaction felt rushed and impersonal.

A couple of minutes later, she came back again asking if we wanted to order more. At that point, we felt uncomfortable, like they were trying to get us out as fast as possible.

We had planned for a nice dinner out, but the entire experience was over in about 30 minutes. The food alone deserves praise, but the lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness from the staff makes it impossible for us to recommend this place or ever return.

My coworker recommended I try this out, since I’m gluten free and love a good pizza. I decided to go with a simple burata margarita pizza, since I’ve been eating too much rich food lately. It was REALLY good. I wasn’t sure I was going to be into such a saucy pizza, but the sauce was flavorful, and thick, and really hit the spot honestly. The gluten free crust was crunchy and held up well. I don’t think it’s house made (I could be wrong) but for a pre-made crust it was surprisingly good. I also had the ceasar salad, not pictured, which was crisp and refreshing and had lots of tasty parmesan. The leaves were massive, but I managed to mostly not look like a vegetable barbarian while eating it. Great service, loud and busy but really nice open layout, so it didn’t feel suffocating. I got in right away cause I was by myself and could just sit at the bar. The location is very cool, as it’s in an outdoor very modern mall kind of area. Anyways, just go eat there. It’s great.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite pizza spots. The pizza is seriously tasty – fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and just the right amount of toppings. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and the interior is clean and nicely decorated. Bonus points for the outdoor seating – it’s a great vibe, especially in good weather!

I walked into this spot for a quick solo dinner during a conference trip to SFO — it was right next to my hotel and popped up on a Google whim. The place had an effortlessly cool vibe, and since I was by myself, they offered me a seat at the bar.

The bartender was super friendly and kicked things off by offering me samples of two different wines. Loved the gesture — I picked one and settled in with my glass while scanning their small but intriguing menu.

It was happy hour, so I went for a 10” wood-fired pizza topped with marinara, salami, spicy peppers (yes, actual heat!), olives, onions, and parmesan. Sounded like a dream combo, and honestly, it was — once it finally arrived.

The only downside? The pizza took way too long. But here’s the thing: the bartender came over, genuinely apologized, and comped the pizza without me even asking. Total class act.

So despite the delay, I walked out smiling. Great wine, flavorful pizza, and a vibrant, welcoming vibe — what more could you want after a long day?

The meal (a vegetarian pizza with burrata cheese) was very delicious!
The attitude of the manager was not polite. We went in for a light dinner on a Saturday at around 7:30pm, and the restaurant seemed to have quite a few tables available. Yet, the manager told us that we would have to wait for 20 minutes as ‘there were no tables’! Despite my husband pointing out to the unoccupied tables, the manager seemed to act indifferently and said that only the tables at bar were available! We decided to wait and see. The manager came in 5-7 minutes to seat us in one of the many tables that had been empty anyway. The food’s taste got my mind off but the rude attitude was surely unwanted.
