By and large the food was good, someone needs to learn how to cook calamari. The atmosphere was quite pleasant servers were as attentive as you could expect. My only complaint is when I spoke to them about the advertised discount for seniors I was told I was supposed to bring that up before I was even seated there’s no signage to that effect. But that’s okay. I’m not going to worry about a $1.74 in the future.

I wasn’t expecting much, but Lucky Buffet totally impressed me. The food variety was amazing—sushi, seafood, teppanyaki, and a ton of Chinese dishes. Everything was hot, fresh, and constantly refilled. At just $16.99 for dinner, the value is unbeatable. Emily, our server, was fantastic—super friendly and attentive. This place is a hidden gem!

When I first walked into lucky buffet I’ll be honest I wasn’t expecting much. I’ve been to many other chinese buffets that have been okay but nothing memorable. However lucky buffet is anything but ordinary. Let me start out by saying that I was amazed by the variety of food they have. From sushi, seafood, even teppanyaki. There’s something for everyone here. I saw some of the comments say the food was old, dirty, cold but that was not the case when I was there. In fact I saw them refreshing the food multiple times and even bringing out new hot dishes to replace those that were almost empty. For those other comments that said the chinese food selection was small… did we even go to the same place? There were so many options it was almost overwhelming. Let’s not forget to mention that at 16.99$ for dinner you really can’t find another restaurant that will offer as much variety for that price. This buffet would have easily been 25$+ back home where I’m from. Also Emily our server was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, and kind. The people of Utah are so lucky to have this place.

We were on a road trip and stopped by the mall next door to shop around a bit and wanted to eat something. Saw the Lucky and decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. A very good variety of choices, fair prices and good service. I personally liked the Mongolian grill station the most and my girlfriend enjoyed the sushi very much. We certainly were *Lucky* to find this place.

I have eaten here before and was not able to find much that I was in the mood for. The egg drop soup was unfortunately one of the worst I have ever tasted. The egg rolls and sushi were amazing! I tried the pasta salad as well and it was delicious! The Mongolian barbecue section is always on point, mainly because you decide what is in it. The seafood bake was interesting, the jury is out on good or bad interesting. I LOVED the wontons but the piece de resistance is the cake they have!! It is wonderfully creamy and has the perfect amount of coffee taste to it. I don’t know what it is but I could eat an entire pan without hesitation and I did eat like 6 pieces. I will probably be back for the Mongolian barbecue and the cake alone.

Come hungry, leave happy. Our kids enjoy the variety chicken, beef, seafood, and desserts. There is a buffet for standard Chinese, salad and sushi then a Mongolia Grill for those who prefer to design their own. Friendly staff, open space, and a chill environment makes this a good place for dining alone or bringing the family.

I took my children and niece to eat and it was clean, had a wide array of options and everything we tried was great! Quickly seated and drinks were there when we came back… I would say that not everything was labeled (as allergies could arise) however I was impressed and would recommend it:)
