Classic spiedies and more! Portions are generous and if you aren’t hungry don’t order the 12″ sandwich. The spiediemossa and the endwell are equally delicious. Next time I’ll be trying the ribs!!! Don’t forget to pick up a gift card to spread the love.

This is a no-frills BBQ place where you help yourself to drinks and cold sides. The food is exactly what you see in the menu, no more no less. If you order as I did, St. Louis Ribs, expect nothing else on your plate. The food is very good, but not the very best BBQ I have ever had. My ribs were tasty and served with a straight up sauce, but were a bit tougher than I would have expected. They needed a bit more low and slow cooking. And they were a bit cold inside (was this a reheat?) We also had a SOCO chicken sandwich which rendered a good, not great from that person.

We split an Endwell Pork Spiedie and a Greek Chicken Spiedie. They were loaded with flavor and tender chunks of meat. The Spiedie and Rib Pit on Upper Front Street never disappoints. It’s an easy stop when driving along I-81 or I-88 in the Binghamton area.

Looks like something an animal puked up! This is supposed to be their Greek Spiedie! It’s literally so soaked in god knows what that the pita bread is a soggy mess, the chicken taste like it’s been boiled. The wrapper that holds it literally disintegrated into the soggy wet mess that supposed to resemble a Greek Gyro .. this is pure gross and uneatable. Also stop asking for tips at the cash register before serving this slop!

Got the pork spiedies, just a bit dry, but wonderful flavor. Some “spiedie juice” fixed that right up! The fried brussels sprouts were amazing!! Could have a tiny bit less dressing as the bottom sprouts weren’t as crispy as the ones on the top.

Never even heard of a Spiedie until the day before we had the pleasure of trying this place. But they were delicious! Even my super picky kids enjoyed them. I had the Greek Spiedie from their menu… I don’t even normally like feta cheese but that sandwich was excellent. Why these skewer/sandwiches are only a Binghamton area regional delicacy and not a fixture on menus nationwide I will never understand. Highly recommended!

Very busy lunch time, but found a seat (shared an end of a big table with a small family) fairly quickly. The spiedie sandwiches were top notch (traditional and Greek) and the fries were delicious! The service was great. Food was hot and we got it in good time. Even when you have to wait in line to order, it’s worth it! I recommend The Spiedie & Rib Pit on Upper Front St. to locals and out-of-town visitors alike!

Five years ago, on a trip to the Finger Lakes, my partner woke up feeling terrible. Oh no, we thought, what if he caught covid? Because of that, I was tasked with driving our rental truck to breakfast. This was where we stopped for brunch.
I kid you not when I say that the spiedie healed my partner (turned out he was just hangry). 5 years later, we stopped here again and the spiedie was still as delicious. Tl;dr, great sandwich, don’t miss if you’re passing through.

This place is my go to lunch-spot-stop when driving through Binghamton. Their spiedie chicken is vinegary and tender, and the service is fast! I usually get a speidie chicken wrap (Greek or buffalo) or a salad. The 6″ sandwich is plenty, but if you can get a 12″ if you’re super hungry or want leftovers. The salads are fresh and well dressed and come with a side of pita, too. The dining area is nothing fancy, but there’s plenty of seating. This place knows what they’re doing with chicken – it’s honestly good food!
