This place is about 2 hours from where we live. My sister lives about 30 minutes from here. Pier 41 is a great seafood restaurant. They have the cleanest crab legs that I have ever seen. I love this place.

I’m not one to complain much but I usually get Dale’s Seafood however I wanted “Seafood” and Pier 41 was open! (Should had waited until Monday!!) Now the Large Shrimp Plates apparently were awesome but the Broiled Deluxe not so much. I asked for “Lemon Pepper” but got nothing but pepper! I don’t like the “deviled crab”!I learned to wait. The service this being I was curbside, was awesome! From the phone order down to serviceFast efficient and very polite! The “Broild Deluxe” is much to be desired.

Clean restaurant. Food was ok, but could have been seasoned better. Menu is confusing and we just couldn’t believe there are NO vegetables for sides, except baked potato & slaw. Only fries- no green beans, collard greens, corn… Nothing! So, if you’re looking for a FULL seafood dinner, this would not be your place. They only offer seafood and fries or baked potato and slaw. I ordered the 3-way combo and you would have thought it was a child’s plate. My wife ordered fish & baked potato and it looked even worse. We ended up having to ask for more food. It’s sad that a lot of places love to show high prices, but don’t give you much of anything in return to match. After friends high recommendations, I was thoroughly underwhelmed and will most likely not return. Never even ate the leftovers brought home. Definitely have had better tasting seafood, sadly, in the city.

The place is always crowded but spacious with clean tables. The waitress was kind very friendly and extremely attentive could feel over whelming to most but very appreciative I didn’t catch her name however she was a native with a nurturing charm, she was so in tune with making certain I was at my happy point of how well she personally chopped up my requested vegetables, she then kept rechecking up on me to make certain I was enjoying my meal and keeping up with my glass staying full, she kept complimenting my features to my date having him smiling feeling like he chose the right one to partner with I suppose but her charm enlighten his mood – had him dipping in higher rank tip money towards her I’d say, so she knew how to work the tables I notice. Wonderful waitress. The food for me was small portion for the high price seems like the plates are for toddlers, I didn’t appreciate sectional plastic plate that divided up portions of food so just imagine how tiny of a portion I had of fried shrimps, and the catfish was not catfishing, it was thin and tiny I had to insist adding salt to the batter for flavor, but it gave off a good crunch feel, the white rice was very tasty I can’t complain it’s the first time I didn’t have to add any of my own salt butter pepper it definitely was just right for me which took me by surprise. And the tea was perfectly sweet. Tho the place was a crowd the environment was respectful in noise and pace of movement, the birthday celebrations was a nice touch to witness viewing how well the staff comes together to sing to one to have them feeling special I enjoyed watching that. I personally will not be planning another trip here the food was not to par for my liking but I do recommend the experience for you. Everyone was very nice

I’ve been here many times throughout the years and have always enjoyed the food and service. My favorite times were my birthday back in May (the waitresses surprised me by singing Happy Birthday and brought me a delightful cupcake) and last Wednesday. I’d never tried the salt and pepper Catfish before and it was sooooo good. I will definitely be back tomorrow (Wednesday) to order the same exact order and I can’t wait. Oh and the sweet tea is always perfect!!

There’s only one restroom. I expected more for the price and items. Shrimp, flounder, clams, and scallops that was squeezed on this little plate. It’s not worth the money for this combination get something more simpler. Despite being with a large party the waitresses did simply good

Pier 41 isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a full plate of Southern comfort done right. I went all in with the large seafood platter — fried oysters, catfish, tilapia, and scallops — and every bite hit like the first time you hear your favorite song. Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned like someone’s grandma still runs the kitchen.
If you see me out here — Bhadboy Rick — know I don’t just pull up anywhere. This is where you come when you want the kind of seafood that makes you slow down and appreciate life. Big plates, big flavors, and a real taste of Lumberton hustle.
