Loved this restaurant. Awesome chicken and pretzels with cheese and Dunkel beer on tap too. Will be going back again soon.

The chicken texture was A++! Crispy, crunchy. A young kids dream skin! The chicken flavor was a B. It was really good but it wasn’t great. I would gladly order it again with no problem though. Macaroni was a solid F-. It was super watery and extremely tasteless. The worst I’ve ever had. Mashed potatoes was a another solid F-. Extra dry the gravy didn’t help, it was falling apart, crumbling into pieces onto my shirt like a powdered donut. Gravy was really dark and repelled the potatoes. It’s like it had a protective cover over the gravy like it had skin, again the worst I’ve ever had. The party wings were an A on the texture and a C on the taste. The sweet chilli sauce was lackluster. The fish and chips were a C+. Two very small pieces of fish and waffle fries for $16 was not worth it at all, maybe 3 pieces that size or two larger pieces . I wanted to love this place more than I did because of all the hype. I’d let you take me there but I wouldn’t take you there, if you can understand that. If the sides were at least edible I would frequent this place.

I came here one evening thinking it was another chicken joint called “Roosters”. Boy was i shocked to arrive and have it not be Roosters.
The chicken out front was misleading, but it might have been the best mistake I’ve ever made.
The food was sublime. I got the fish hoagie (a risk i know at a chicken joint but it was great). I also got a bowl of the freshest soup this side of West Virginia.
The customer service? It was excellent. Like eating at a fine dining establishment. All i saw were the faces of smiling customers.
The only knock was a little burn mark outside the building. That was odd. Other than that, I’m gonna recommend this to my book club.
Ronald Larkin JR is a star in the making. Ever hear of Guy Fieri? More like “Wishes he was RonLarkin Fieri” haha.
Loved every second.

Known for their fried chicken, this nice family restaurant with lots of other menus choices. Servings were generous and tasty. Large open dining area with lots of memorabilia. Nice bar and outdoor seating. We called and was told we didn’t need reservations for our party of six arriving at 6…. They were wrong. They scrambled to put tables together for us. When the last half of our party arrived they were told it would be 20 minute wait. After being seated service was excellent. Parking could be tricky during peak hours.

Turkey Dinner…not real turkey, it is processed like Stoffer’s frozen meals, mashed potatoes were from a box, and stuffing tasted like Stove Top. But the green beans were awesome. Very dissappointed as I thought they were a home-made restaurant. Burger was really good.

Heads up: As of 11/17/2024, their website menu doesn’t have the up-to-date prices. The menu inside the restaurant has higher prices than the one on their website so you may expect to pay more than expected. (Menu photos taken November 2024)
Other than the website not being up-to-date, Ron’s Roost is a solid restaurant. The food is always filling and delicious and the staff is always friendly. It’s a bit upsetting that what I normally would order went up about three dollars in price and it cost about $3.19 for a soda now. I guess everyone is hurting.
Parking can be difficult to navigate from time to time. There are arrows in the parking lot showing people which direction to drive but of course, there are some people who don’t pay attention. Just the other night, as me and my fiancé were trying to find a spot, we were coming up the hill in their lot and somebody was blocking the hill with their car instead of utilizing the overhang drop-off area. We tried to get around to go park and somebody pulled out in front of us going the wrong way in the lot. Just keep an eye out for people who don’t pay attention to the painted arrows on the ground and you should be okay. The restaurant seems to have ample amount of parking but it can get packed during dinner time, especially around the weekend.

Worst fried chicken I’ve ever eaten! I’m originally from Louisiana and Popeye’s is miles above in texture, crust and above all TASTE! Never again for me! My wife got the buffet and she wasn’t thrilled either! Next time I stop by Popeye’s and pay half as much and smile from happiness in my mouth! PS… Lee’s is better also… not Popeye’s but better than Ron’s! ✌️

I love this place – went and had lunch last week with a coworker and everything was on point like usual. Really good value here. High quality food with large portion sizes every time I’ve gone. On top of great food – the atmosphere is awesome, the staff is friendly, quick and attentive, AND the owners are incredible people. Got the chance to chat with Olga a bit. She is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. Looking forward to my next visit!

First time trying Ron’s Roost. Might be right for some folks. We did the “buffet” and it was okay. The sides are definitely just like what you got from school lunch. The chicken was meh but atleast it was hot. Definitely not worth the hype. To quote a reddit thread, “this is where the boomers take their parents”.
Sorry Ron’s Roost! Maybe we try ordering something different next time.

The chicken livers were good, albeit a bit well-done, until after I put them in my to-go box and had “one more for the road.” It had gall on it. Very bitter and nasty. A taste that keeps on giving. I told the waitress and she didn’t offer to do anything about it, even though I’d only eaten less than 1/4 of the livers. “I’m sorry isn’t good enough. Meal left a bad taste in my mouth—literally. Salad was very good. Fries were not good. Neither my son nor I liked them, and the livers were a bit over done and had gall in them.
