Today was my first time visiting since the new ownership took over. I was absolutely blown away by everything, service was top notch and extremely welcoming. At first I was surprised because we were getting a special menu not what I saw online as the traditional menu. It was Chinese food and it was delicious. Also a gentleman got up and played live music he was really funny and had an excellent voice. My whole family of four was delighted with our experience.

UPDATE: they offer chinese food on a very limited basis, usually winter time before the holidays start. It is amazing.
NEW MGMT, Franciosi restaurant group is operating the NEW Antlers.
New favorite place in South Routt with a diverse, comfortable, & complete menu of options. Service was great and atmosphere was on par. Have always loved there food at Franciosi Brothers Pizza and there high standards translate to this establishment very well.
Simple put, I ate too many of the house fried potato chips and dip. There Salads were fresh, rhe grilled chicken sandwich was on par, and even the peach blackberry crisp desert was great but not too much for a table of 4 to share.
Will be back on the reg. Stoked to have another great place to eat down here.

Awesome little restaurant. Loved the homemade Ramen and tried a few others plates; the salmon and prime rib were both amazing too. Sadly, when we were there we were told it was the last night they would be open. Hopefully that isn’t true, would be looking forward to eating there on my next visit.

Fun dining experience with humorous taxidermy decor. Great choices for main course, but the special pasta was sold out by our 6:30pm reservation. Good place for groups with excellent service.

We weren’t planning on stopping in Yampa, but some delays meant that we weren’t going to make closing time where we were planning to go. With literally seconds to decide, we settled on the Antlers Cafe and boy was it a treat. Food was good, but the highlight was the bluegrass band playing on a Monday night. Also the taxidermy is just fantastic. Be sure to sneak a peek in the men’s bathroom.
Food was pretty good for what it was, but for Grandma’s meatballs, I’d prefer a bit more garlic to bring out the flavor. Another in our party had a burger that was good but overall not that remarkable. Apparently this was their limited menu though so I’d be curious to come back and try their other offerings. For being in very much the middle of nowhere, this place was pretty awesome. Would visit again.
