A great local eatery, entrancing you to visit with delicious smells. And luckily, multilingual staff to help tourists out!
The proteins were excellent (I had a daily special pork, while dinner companions had swordfish and chicken).
The person who had the chicken would’ve fought anyone that tried to take it from them before they were done with it.
One star removed from the food because the broccoli was overcooked.
We will be returning before we go back home, and I will definitely be having the chicken.

This local roasted chicken spot was surprisingly good! Our table was definitely a bit too small for everything we ordered. They’re famous for their roasted chicken and the chicken-flavored rice that comes with it was randomly our favorite, perfectly oily and addictive. The creamy steak was rich and flavorful. The roasted squid was very tender. The roasted pig cheeks were a bit on the chewier side, but still tasty. We were a family of five and the total was only 66 euros, incredibly affordable!

Wow, is all I can say! The bbq best chicken I’ve ever had and I’m from Texas where bbq is life. I split the half chicken with my sister and it was more than enough food. Even the basic white rice was delicious and flavorful. You can also tell it’s super popular amongst the locals because there was a constant line for take away/to-go. The staff was super friendly and the food came out right away. The best part was it was so affordable, our total was less than €15. Highly recommended if you are in Lisbon, you won’t be disappointed.

When I arrived in Lisbon, it was the evening of January 1st when most restaurants were closed, and only this restaurant was opened. It was close to the accommodation, so I bought food at takeout, and the charcoal-grilled chicken was so delicious. The next day, we had lunch at the restaurant, and the grilled fish was delicious. There was also a friendly staff.

Absolute gem of a find! The peri peri we got was incredible and the chips and rice were delicious. The food was of high quality and the price is worth it in itself. We paid 38 euros for 2 beers, two mains and 2 desserts. Would deffo go back if I ever go to Lisbon again!

Portions were pretty good. Lucky we didn’t order additional bread. We could barely finish our 2 orders. The mixed meat stew had several different cuts of pork, a piece of rib, some pig ear, some small pieces of different sausages and intestine, knuckle, potato, cabbage, beans and rice. The meat could be more tender. The fish sausage came with fries, an egg, olives and rice. Don’t know if you’re supposed to eat the casing since it was quite tough. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The overall experience was enjoyable. Definitely would go back and try some grilled chicken and grilled fish.

The staff are extremely friendly!!! All the dishes are really delicious, especially the shrimp risotto – it’s the most delicious one I’ve ever had!!! The portion sizes of the dishes are all quite large. The desserts are super tasty! It’s a pity that I can only stay in this city for one day. If I have a chance, I’ll definitely come back for another meal.

I love this place. It’s the first restaurant I went to in Portugal, and kept returning to eat. The service and the foods are excellent. The waiters speak good English. More importantly, this place offers a cheaper price and better foods than restaurants in the neighboring areas.

Incredible service. The grilled chicken, fries and garlic soup are very good. We also ordered a “ split” of wine. Dessert was cafe latte and chocolate mousse, also made with love.
Get a table before 7/7:15 pm because the crowd starts entering between 7:30/8 pm and line begins. Lots of family, and lots of take out.
This is a fantastic restaurant with good food at a very reasonable price, great service/ staff. Do not miss out on this little gem in Belém!
