Highly recommend the hot ham sandwiches. They were absolutely delicious! We also had the loaded potato slices (they weren’t true potato skins) which were fantastic. The bar was a perfect small town barn with locals (both 2 and 4 legged). Would recommend stopping in if you’re in the area for a quick bite to eat.

In1974 Beula Rank was a student in my night school Cabinet Making Class. I expressed how much I liked their ham sandwich. She said costs had gone up so much she was going to put less ham in sandwich or raise the price. I told her NEVER CHANGE THE SANDWICH by shrinking the contents. People WANT THE ORIGINAL sandwich, even if it means the price is raised.
A couple of years ago, we had a RANK’S ham sandwich when we visited the area. The sandwich was still as good as it was in 1974, WELL WORTH THE PRICE. When we visit Wisconsin from Missouri again, we will ABSOLUTELY go out of our way to stop at RANK’S TAVERN in Adams/Friendship.

Such I nice bar, went there for my wife’s 21st, we all had a great time, the vibe in here was so strong that even me singing “country roads” during karaoke, and absolutely butchering it if I may add, didn’t throw anyone’s energy off, the food was great, the drinks were great, the people were beyond great! They made the night very special for all of us! Highly recommend!
